INXS are a great band and ABSOLUTELY deserve to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Their music has been around for 25 + years and is still played and relevant today.

Too '80s bound...certainly not really a timeless band worthy of HOF.

Truly the most under recognised band in the world.  No list of great rock bands could possibly be complete without INXS on it.

INXS ARE AMAZING IN THE 80S AND 90S WITH THEIR OWN SPECIAL FRESH DELIVERANCE, THEIR WEMBLEY GIG IS THIS ALL IN A NUT SHELL. FROM RECENTLY SEEING THEM GIG, I WENT WITH THE MIND SET TO ENJOY THESE LEGENDS DOING THERE TRADE WITH THEIR NEW PRODIGY,WHO CAN HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO FILL THE BIG BOOTS FROM THE LEGEND MICHAEL HUTCHENCE. MY EYES WERE NOT ON THE LEADING MAN,WHICH WAS LIKE WATCHING A DRUNKEN KARAOKE PERFORMANCE WITH PAINFULL FACIAL EXPRESSIONS WITH STRANGE STIFF MOVEMENTS WITH NO SEX APPEAL. MY OTHER HALF SAID JD LOOKED LIKE RUSSELL BRAND IN HIS SKINY JEANS WITH NO SEX APPEAL AND GREASEY HAIR. WHEN JD CAME OUT TO PERFORM HE STUCK TWO FINGERS UP TO THE AUDIENCE (AND DID THIS MANY TIMES!) WHICH DIDN'T LOOK GOOD!. WHEN THE CROWD WASN'T GOING CRAZY AT THE PERFORMANCE, JD TURNED HIS ARROGANCE INTO POLITENESS, WHEN EACH SONG STARTED, RATHER THAN BEGINNING THE VOCAL STRAIGHT AWAY, JD KEPT TRYING TO LIGHT A CIGARETTE WHICH HAPPENED ALL THE TIME WHICH WAS VERY UNEASY TO WATCH. JD KEPT A... Read more

I at times would not like to admit I listened to them non-stop for so many years. It is true that their best records are dated, but they were superstars and their work had a passion and fire that cannot be denied. Besides, it was so catchy that even if dated it's not easy to imagine youth of the future not falling for it.

One of the best live bands ever! They deserve to be nominated at the very least.

First and foremost I would like to say that INXS was a great band. They were great all throughout the 80's. Not just the mid to late 80's. They are very talented musicians who do deserve to be on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Although I do not agree with them having JD as their lead singer, they should be inducted as INXS with Michael Hutchence. There are many other groups that have been inducted that I totally don't agree with. Some should be way behind INXS and some should be along with them. What's wrong with the nominators.

Great, Great Aussie band that bought a funk dance groove mainstream and to the rest of the world. As well as bought performing live to a new dimension, as good live as on record.

They had two or three good songs. Their lead singer was a suicidal poser. Their new lead singer is a talent show contestant. Their overrated videos just copied Dylan and the Beatles. There's no reason for them to be so high on this list.

At the forefront of dance/rock.....had an unmistakable groove that, most importantly, has really stood the test of time. Watching ROCKSTAR and hearing some of the old tracks reminded me of two things....A) they were - and still are! - AWESOME musicians, particularly Garry Gary BEERS! - and B) Michael Hutchence was one of the best, most mesmerizing vocalists of the last 30 years! JD has VERY big shoes to fill (but I'm rooting for him!)

The Rockstar show really made me realize just how deep the INXS catalog of great songs is. I think for a band to be considered for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - they should have so many songs that have received airplay that it's hard to get them all on one CD.

I am sorry, but as much as I liked them back when they first came out, I don't find them to be anything more than another corporate band. Very typical, nothing new at all. They do not deserve to be in RRHOF.

A tight, kick-ass band with a great groove, they deserve entry into the HOF with posthumous enrollment of Michael Hutchence. The are still working after all they've been through. They may have a hard time replacing MH, as would U2 without Bono, or the Police after Sting, or the Pretenders without Chrissie Hinds. But they are great writers of great music, and if anybody can come back INXS can. They have the passion, they have the cool.

They were a quality 80's band. In addition to the Kick album that was their biggest success, they also had some great songs in 83 like The One Thing and Dont Change The World. That being said I dont think they deserve HOF honors but if they get voted in I wont complain either.

One of Australia's greatest international success stories (at least in music). They deserve Hall of Fame honours, along with AC/DC.

Run of the mill 80s band with little or no talent. I hear they are trying to find a new lead singer via a reality show, talk about desperate.

Absolutely need to be inducted. The Aussies lead by the late Michael Hutchence rocked, funked and metaled us dance crazy with their addicting beats.
