Drivers of Z cars are very loyal to, and fanatically proud of, their brand. You'll find all sorts of fan sites, Z-related discussion boards, etc. online. I drive an '08 350Z (I call her Tina) and I regularly get approving head nods from other Z drivers. And there's a reason for all this seeming nonsense: these cars are intoxicatingly fun to drive. The Z has undergone a number of face lifts, and I personally like them all. Dating all the way back to the Datsun 240Z of the 1970s, each Z rebirth has been exciting. The newest (the 370) is straight up mean looking, in an oh-so-awesome way.

I have been crazy about the 300 ZX, for the longest time. The way the body is curved... eather a woman was model or the designer... Even to this days... the 300ZX turns heads...

my best friend has a 2003 350z and all he has put on it is a AEM cold air intake and a carbon fiber strut bar and we blow hemi magnums, dodge chargers, mustang gt cobras, and others off the road all day long. the only car that has taken us so far is a twin turbo porshe 911.

I have 2 32s. One is an n/a daily driver and is the longest runner I have ever had. There is no American (mustang, Vette, etc) that can even come close to the longevity of the VG30DE. It is now over 200,000 and runs just as strong as it did at 0 miles. My TT (50,000 miles) outperforms any car I have seen at the track. Well, with the exception of the 911s, Fararri's, Lambo's and Astin Martins that come around every now and again. Yeah, a Supra has more potential, but does not have the prestige or legacy that the Z car has. Not to mention that the Supra got it's resale value increase from a gay ass movie (F&TF;). A TTZ with around $3k into it (and the car costs around $10k for a good example) will beat 99% of the cars on the street and yield you at least 600hp and 550+ ft-lbs of torque. Personally, I have all of that power, but I don't even have the experience to fully utilize those kind of #s on the track (that's the road track, not that straight line, hill-jack BS). Yeah, wo... Not bad for a relatively cheap sports car. The new Z is a big improvement on the old tank the car had become, but still lacks performance. Decent handling.

The 350Z has a cool design and is a great drive. There are better sports cars out there in the market, but for the price range, a great car.

I have owned 2 Z-series Nissan cars and I love them both. Anyone giving this car a low review has not ever gotten in one and driven it.

As sports cars go they could be rated from poor to average depending on the year. The new 350's have an awesome design and are more powerful than their predecessors. I owned a pair of 280zx's when I was younger and I'd be lying if I didn't say they were constantly in need of repair or were exactly the greatest sports cars. There's a lot better options on the market.

Best car in the series and fastest! I've seen plenty of videos of stock 300's and 350's 300 always wins hands down. I have also owned 3 300ZX's still have two twin turbo's one and beat my friend who has a 350 all the damn time. One of the best cars ever made no questions about it

I LOVE the Nissan Z series escpecially the Z32 it is a SEXY car if i muss say. The advertisements still play out in my mind clearly and all, this is defintitely a car to have. Yes Supra's are a bit faster stock for Stock, but they can both be upgraded depending on how deep your wallet is it is anyones game. Much Love 2 the Z series P.S. It's just something about A Z that just makes you ENJOY THE RIDE.

The 90-96 300zx was the best, but just WHAT was Nissan thinking when they introduced that ugly 350z???? Bring the 90's model BACK!!!!

You'll be hard pressed to find a better all-around street car per dollar than the Twin-Turbo version of Nissan's 300ZX. Nothing short of a supercar when modified correctly.

I am hard pressed to find anything to replace my Z32TT in styling/power/handling. I looked at the supra, but found it to be a way overpriced celica. Only supras I know of are dyno queens with undriveable power bands.

ok look, if u wanna compare a z to a ferrari get the hell off this site. the z32 is the fastest, best looking car you can buy for under $20 grand, PERIOD! sure supras look better and are faster but you're not gonna get one of those for under $20,000. if u're looking for a car that will turn heads, scream past all but a few domestic cars, is reliable and not gonna completely empty out your wallet, get a Z! i wanna hear what other cars look as good, handle as well and can do 0-60 in 5.5 s. lets hear it???

z doesn't have as much potential as supra.. no way.. but still i've seen 700wheel hp z's pull of 9's very very fast cars.. any 6 cylinder and i6; z, supra, skyline i would take no doubt.. oh yea skyline might be faster in 1/4 mile but top end it has absolutely no no chance.. rwd=less hploss=more top end

300zx ownz..stop comnparing it to a supra. COMPARE A SKYLINE TO A SUPRA (thats how it is in japan). many upgrades (not as much as a civic or an eclipse). get up to stage 3 and your gonna want to get to at least a stage 8. SKYLINE OWNS SUPRA. supra does beat 300zx. for the money, style, performance and speed. Its a 5 star. Buy a 1990-1996 300zx instead of that crappy civic, integra, mustang, prelude, etc. UNLESS YOU ARE A FAMILY MAN.. then this isnt the car for you. stillen jim wolf technology HKS stands behind the 300zx fully

Just like the Supra, an excellent series of cars, BUT NOT THE BEST SPORTS CARS EVER, THEREFORE not deserving highest rated sports car honors. Sorry, have to knock this one down a couple notchs.

Superb car. My 90 TT has a few mods (computer, higher boost, exhaust) and pumps 400HP. I drive it every day with no probs. I paid $20k for it (Aussie dollars - that's about $10k US!) and it smokes just about everything bar Porsche turbos and Lambo's (don't come across those too often). Better value, looks and lineage than the Supra, although the Supra should probably becompared to the Nissan GT-R R33 (GT-R still comes up better). Where is the GT-R in the ratings???

While I still love the 1990-96 300ZX (R.I.P), the biggest screw up ever by Nissan was their decision to discontinue this fine looking performance machine. If they introduced the last off the line '96 300 ZX as a 2001 model I bet it would still turn heads everywhere. The 300ZX oozes with sex appeal! Oh yeah, did I mention the Z's twin turbo DOHC engine that'll smoke any Mustang? The 300 ZX along with the Acura NSX remains the epitome of Japanese sports car performance and ingenuity.

I've had my 70 240z for quite some time now it is the second one I've owned. The Z car is the most fun I've ever had with a car. Weight ratio is awesome! The modifications you can make to the car is endless. I think Porsche is going to be a little envious of the new Z. A new fully loadedZ is faster handles better and about $20k less than a base Boxter. All around I think the Z is THE best car!!!!

being a fairly new kid to Z's I have found that there is no better car around. I driven tons of mustangs, comaros, and other big sports/muscle cars and nothing has compared to the rush I get when I put my 77 Z in 1st and lit the tires up down Gartiot in Detroit, MI.

Great car, I'd take one, sure. All I can do is laugh when I hear people compare the McLaren F1's and such... are these people serious? I'd say second best imported car made (second to the supra in style and speed, etc. IMO.. ) If I didn't have a Supra, I'd buy a Z.

I have owned every Z car made from a 1971 240Z to a 1974 260Z to a 1978 280Z to a 1981 280ZX to a 1985 300ZX Turbo to a 1990 300ZX. They are absolutely the best cars I have ever owned. My present 300ZX is a joy to drive and I can do a lot of the work to it myself in terms of maintenance and performance mods. THEY ARE GREAT CARS!!!!

Fast i'm sure, But the interior is to small. Also the 280Z is known for the frame rusting, This is what i've been told from previous owners. Looks good and have always thought of buying one. The late model 300ZX is beutiful. But again lack of room for the interior.

What you guys are saying this being the #1 car, is meanign this car is faster, sleeker, sharper, more reliable, the best car of all cars? Bull... Heck a Porshe 911 in 3rd place? and yet this is in 1st? Bull Nissans stole there first 240sx models from the Supra basic outline.. Toyota has proof, not to mention toyota has been alive longer.
