World champ, well done, 5stars for that no question, but Lennox was a dull fighter IMHO...it's just his style. He's a big slow ox. The fact that he managed to grab, crawl, lumber his way up to the higher echelons of the game is at best unremarkable, given that he fought so cautiously and never seemed excited or fired up once. The most animated I remember seeing him was after his TKO loss to McCall. Terribly, terribly boring. Hopeless entertainment (unless you like to watch a guy leaning someone into defeat)...all Lewis says is 'look at my record' but it's dull, who cares about numbers..it's the memories that a fighter leaves that count and I'm afraid Lennox yours are not up there for me. Give me Bowe, Holyfield or Tyson any day.

hes boring and fat ( just kidding with the fat ). Hes a bloody coward who runs from everybody. Doesnt fight Jones or Byrd and wouldve been creamed by Tyson if thay fought back in the 80s. Lewis stinks.

Latunskij you are stupid when it comes to boxing. Lewis ducked Tyson in the 80s while Tyson was getting corrupted. Lewis ducked Byrd and Jones. Tyson ducked no body look what Tyson did to Mitch Green when he was in his prime and imagine what he can do on Lewis that glass jaw coward

Glass jawed fighter who fights like a pussy. Hes boring in his fights he ducks fights with Jones and Byrd. He wouldve lost to Klitschko if the fight wasnt stoped and he wouldve been slaughtered by Tyson if thay fought back in the 80s.

soft chin, no skill, no class, and no heart is all lennox lewis has to offer. lennnox, the cautious coward, doesnt deserve to been even thought about in comparison to real ring legends. hes not great nor is he good.

This man has never met a proper fighter in their prime. Yes, he does win, but usually it is so boring that I lose interest. Jab, jab ,jab. I would love to see this man tested.

Lennox Lewis is a soft chinned punk that wont fight nobody like Roy Jones and Chris Byrd and fights people when they are old and until he beats Byrd or Jones or somebody when they are at their best I can never respect him

Lennox Lewis is a discrace to boxing all he brings to boxing are poofy antics and to those who think he's good you's don't no a thing about boxing if you did you would realise that great fighters like Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier could not be matched by this descrace who calls himself a boxer and as i said before i can't wait till he losses his title to a decent fighter and not some bum lke Rahmin or McColl.

Probably the most overrated fighter in the world, in his fights all he does is jab and run away. If he had a shorter reach he would get beaten off everyone. Also if he fought Tyson in his prime he would have been killed.

HERE IS A MAN WHO IS DODGING OUT OF FIGHTING CHRIS BYRD BECAUSE HE SAYS IT WOULD BE NO COMPETITION, SO HE GOES AND FIGHTS THE GUY THAT CHRIS BYRD BEAT. I THINK HE HAS SOME SKILLS AS A BOXER BUT I ALSO THINK HE KNIT PICKS HIS OPPONENTS. I MEAN WHO HAS HE REALLY FOUGHT LATLEY, AN AGING TYSON? HE WANTS TO FIGHT BOXERS WHO AREN'T REALLY ESTABLISHED IN THE HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION OR WHO HAVE PASSED THEIR PRIME. SO WHY WONT HE TAKE ON BOXERS SUCH AS CHRIS BYRD WHO HAVE BEEN NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS FOR OVER A YEAR. SO HE GIVES UP A BELT. SOME CHAMPION. THE LAST FIGHT HE WAS GETTING DESTROYED AGAINST KLITSCHKO, HE WAS LUCKY THE FIGHT WAS STOPPED.

Tyson wouldn't have beat Lennox, not even in his absolute prime. Tony Tucker, a smart, 6'4 tall boxer, was beating him until Tyson landed the lucky punch. The point is, as quick, powerful and aggressive as Tyson was, a 5'11 guy can't beat a 6'6 guy with a heavy, accurate jab and such a powerful right. Lennox would've put that jab square in Tysons chest to keep him outside, then timed his headmovement and caught him with the cross. If Tyson had managed to work his way inside, Lennox would've punished him with the right uppercut before stepping back and to the side. Tyson's only chance would've been to catch Lennox with a single lunging punch, but Lennox has never had any trouble slipping such punches. Conclusion: It doesn't matter whether he's 19 or 35, Tyson can't beat Lennox.

This guy's a ?ussy. He runs from everybody. He would probably run from me. Fought holyfield and tyson when they are past their primes. Got knocked the f out by rahman. He got his ass whipped by Vitali. Would have lost to tyson had they fougth earlier. this guy is truly gay.

Lennox Lewis is truly a fabulous fighter. He has never ducked any fighter. Case in point #1. Riddick Bowe quit after getting stepped to in the olympics. Pitbulls get shot in the head immediately for that. Why do you think no major promotor signed Bowe after the olympics, so he ended up with Rock Newman. Then, after Bowe won the UNDISPUTED title from Holyfield, he threw away a belt so he wouldnt have to fight Lewis, who he was contractually obligated to fight after Lewis knocked out Ruddock in 2 rounds the week before. Back then, Ruddock was the #1 contender and Lewis #2. Rarely do #1 ranked fighters fight the #2 fighter. They fought because they had the confidence to do so. The contract was for the winner of Lewis vs Ruddock to fight the winner of Holyfield vs Bowe. This was an actual contract, not a fabricated ranking based on some WBC decision. That is why Lewis called Riddick, "Chicken Bowe"! Bowe never fought a legitimate fighter outside of Holyfield. #2. Mike Tyson ... Read more

The Anti-Tyson. You never hear about him getting in legal trouble or sexually harrassing people. And until someone beats him, he is the best heavy weight boxer in the world. The Tyson-Lewis fight was supposed to be one of the greatest fights in recent time, but you saw what Lewis did to him. He's the best right now.

Lennox Lewis must rank as the greatest fighter between 1990 and 2003. He is not only big and powerful, but also has speed and genuine boxing skills. It is this rare combination that helped him destroy Razor Ruddock, Tommy Morrison, Golota, Akinwande and recently Tyson. It also helped him beat people like Holyfield who also had genuine boxing skills.

Only 1 heavyweight in history went undefeated (Marciano)So he gets a 5 even with the 2 losses to sub-par fighters. You must remember though that these are heavyweights and 1 small error leads to 1 big loss. Lewis is the only heavyweight since Ali to dominate with brains and skill. I laugh at those who say he runs. They obviously beleive (want) boxing to be just a goon sport dominated by animals. Lewis is a perfect example of why they call boxing the sweet science. Also, to those who wish Lewis had fought a younger Tyson..It was Tyson that hid from Lewis ealier on as did Hollyfield and others. He has defeated Andrew Golota, Tommy Morrison, Henry Akinwande, Evander Holyfield, Frans Botha, David Tua, and Tyson. Lewis is 11-2-1 against men who have at one point or another in their careers held the IBF, WBA, WBC or WBO title. To deny his ability because you don't like his style is childish.

Lennox Lewis upseted me when he beat tyson and he also made me change my mind and admit he is the best heavyweight in the world he has beat some of the greatest he had nothing more to prove but i still want to see him fight klitscho that will be a great fight but keep on doing what you do and retain the title.

I did give this cat a full 5 because recently he has ran from the best in order to keep the big pay day's coming and keep his legacy intact! He has ran from Byrd and Vitali in order to make more money by fighting once a year against the shot fighter that is tyson...

What can you say? he's beat all the best contenders like Tua, Grant,Razor Ruddock, but he's also lost to two nobody's like Rahman and Oliver Mcall, I think when Lewis is focused like he always is in big fights he is pretty much unbeatable even with his suspect chin. He's got my respect but I hate when he has those suprise losses, If I were him I would fight Wladimir Klitchko and call it a very good end to a successful career.tyson was such a joke.

Lewis' chin was initially exposed by McCall Rahman put the final nail in the exposure of heavyweights with weak chins by displaying Lewis for what he really was- a heavyweight chump who can't take a punch! For all the talk of Lewis' right hand it was his chin that should have been headlined every time he stepped into the ring. Lewis better pray that Tyson doesn't "tap" him there!

Here we havea great fighter. He's got some stone hands and will knock and great reach! I think he's got a lot of potential. He's not a Slugger, he's a boxer, so he's more Mental. People piss me off talking about him running, blah blah blah.. the Man is a Smart Boxer, not a Slugger One Puncher..get a clue people..

He beats what there is to beat out there. There's no one for him to fight. There hasn't been a major force to reckon with since Tyson snapped in the early 90's, still, Lewis does the job when it's time to. He sure made an absolute ass out of Holyfield!

I GIVE LENNOX A FOUR STAR BECAUSE OF HIS CONSISTENCY, ON THE SAME TOKEN I TOOK A STAR AWAY FOR HIS LACK OF COMPETITION. THIS LACK OF COMPETITION MAY NOT BE HIS FAULT BECAUSE LENNOX IS STUCK IN BETWEEN UPCOMING YOUNG FIGHTERS AND RETIRING VETERANS. EVEN IF HE BEATS TYSON AT THIS MOMENT, WE ALL KNOW THAT HE WOULD NOT COME CLOSE TO BEATING THE TYSON THAT WE ALL ONCE KNEW.SORRY LENNOX, I WISH YOU WERE IN THIS POINT IN TIME TEN YEARS AGO.

He is the champion because he has not really faced any body that will be persistent with power punches. All he has is the weak jab - he is not a true champion. He will NEVER be considered as one of the best heavyweights ever.

Wow is he boring to watch. Technically superior to everyone in his class, he is unwilling to mix it up with the heavy hitters. And why should he? As smart as he is, he understands that he is not likely to be beaten if he sticks to his jab, moves around a lot, and refuses to allow himself to be baited into slugging it out. Not a great guy to get pay per view for, and not a great guy to bet against.

Lewis is on a top high in confidence right now, physicaly i cant see him being beat because of his super strong jab and reach, not to mention his boxing skill wich is a deing thing in the heavy weight devision
