I don't mind cooking. Matter of fact, I do it quite often. I wouldn't necessarily call it a favorite pastime, just something that has to be done, and a lot cheaper than going out to eat all the time. Not to mention healthier because I have the control of the ingredients.

I like to cook, and I'm above average at it, but I wouldn't call it a pastime. More like an essential.

I find cooking fairly easy and enjoyable...but just I hate doing the dishes.

I don't cook all the time, but I can get into it when I do.I'm really good at breakfasts, soups, sauces,BBQ & my wicked ass chili con carne.Like Numbah,I don't bake.I was a prep cook for a spell,& camp every summer with several real-deal chefs, from whom I've learned a few tricks.Several of my long lost ladies REALLY miss my skills, including the kitchen ones.

...eating still gets top billing.

This may surprise a reviewer or two, but I throw down in the kitchen on a level that might impress a person or two, and unless its some kinda baked goods (which I ain't much for attempting, really) I cook like a Jedi and sorta feel things out. My pasta is reasonable as I show at least some skills with a wicked meat sauce, my chili is a special little piece of evil, and barbecue is a medium that I take to with an almost fanatical bloodlust as I plod through experimental marinades and try them on my friends, usually to pretty rave reviews. Its a pretty zen like, feel good activity...

I like cooking. The best food is always homemade. Plus, it's pretty easy to tailor recipees to get exactly what ingredients are most healthy. As oppposed to the cheapest ingredients in most already prepared food. These days, with the internet, I google a food I feel like eating and have my choice of many excellent recipees within seconds.

I used to think I hated cooking, but found out it's just because I never tried it. I cook most of my meals now and it's pretty simple. If I caved out some time to learn some new recipes I think that would add to the fun of it, but right now I cook to live and not as a favorite pastime.

I cook normally towards the weekend. I love to cook and I've been told that I am really good at it. Why not?

I love cooking, eating, baking, finding new recipes or just inventing new things.

One of my favorite ways to relax. And I'm not too shabby of a cook either, if I do say so myself.

Hate it. Could never cook to save my life.

I love to cook, but mainly because I love to eat. Not sure it's a pastime if it is part of a necessity, though some people certainly treat it that way.

I rediscovered cooking about a year ago, and I really enjoy it, particularly when whatever I cook is a success! What's great about cooking is that it's actually quite easy;you just need to follow the directions of the recipe. But it is also creative, because you can season to taste.
