Neighbors Having Sex

Pretty annoying, but it happens all the time....

Even more funny when you hear them fighting, then bedsprings, then more fighting, then more bedsprings!

Hey...... there is nothing wrong with others having sex..... Maybe I am a bit of a freak, but what a turn on ! LOLOLOL......now if they are knocking stuff off MY walls... then I might get annoyed.... but if its just sounds, KUDOS.... they must be doing something right! LOL

i don't really have much to do with my neighbors.

Hasn't been an issue since back in the apartment days. Houses tend to be much more sound proof. I also find that most people didn't take the Beatles song "Why Don't We Do It in the Road..." too seriously. Otherwise I might have more to report on this.

How annoying it is directly depends on the neighbors and how good the sex sounds, and whether I've been getting any lately.

Thankfully I don't hear this too much. My neighbors are old[er].

It's most annoying when it happens in the middle of a long period when the same such sounds are never coming from your house.  Actually the absolute worst is when you can hear the neighbours having sex and you live on a farm and the nearest neighbour lives a couple of miles away!  What the heck are they doing?

Late at night, HIGHLY ANNOYING!!!

I'm 19 and have just moved into my first place with my girlfriend. My neighbor from hell has taken to yelling out when we go at it and we have even had a couple of notes under the door documenting dates and times. I think she needs to get a life and understand that people our age need and have a right to sex. Understand that when I wake up I'm primed and ready to go off, when i'm at work i think about doing it, on my way home the anticipation builds. If I happen to make some noise (she singles me out along with the bed springs) then deal with it - its not something I have any control over - just a natural reaction to stimulation and genuine enthusiasm for the task at hand. Most nights we do it two to three times - once again out of need and not something i need to apologise for.

I know the girl upstairs listens at the wall when I nail my girlfriend most nights. I hear her bed and floorboard shift whenever I get started. Girlfriend has no idea. I really get off on it.

The place upstairs was once let to a guy who felt the need to make up for lost opportunities - he would get home & really give his rod and bed a work out, do it again a few times at bed time, and then again in the morning. When girlfriend moved in he would masturbate loudly before she got home, but sex was quiet. Wanted him to nail her but with ear to wall all I heard were the soft sounds of pleasure from the guy. Only once did I hear her say "deeper" & based on the creak & his moan I assume he complied!

My attitude has been changed by the young couple next door. We get off listening to the distinct stages - tv turned off, silence punctuated by occasional nondescript people noises, low talking and laughing, sound of bed shifting as it takes the weight of two, moaning building in intensity, silence, low moans again building in intensity, silence for about a minute, feverish grunting / moaning / clanging of headboard and bed springs for 2-3 mins, silence for about a min, the sound of the bed shifting, silence

Depends on the people concerned. I have heard things and just blocked them out. This changed when beautiful twenty-something guy moved in upstairs. Sunday through Thursday I hear him go at it solo. He must hump the mattress because the rhythmic sound of the bed springs almost drowns out his moaning and snorting. I picture him from above the bed wearing a white towelling robe - his ass rising and then plunging into it's softness. On Fri & Sat he has company - a screamer - no pleasure to be had from that.

Guy who lives upstairs is hot and obviously randy. Don't hear the girlfriend but his low gentle moans and climax sound great and so does the bed as it creaks as he thrusts. Turns me on during the two 20 or so minute sessions a night I hear him and his bed!

Never had that problem with neighbors, but a roomate that I lived with (NOT numbah) woke me up from a dead sleep at 2 a.m. on a Tuesday because she was having sex.

Considering my neighbors are well into their hundreds I really don't have to worry about this.

Luckily I have only had to deal with this a few times..and i must say it was annoying!

This depends on how they sound. If they sound good I may even have a listen. (yep, still a perv) If they sound too porno I may want to drown them out. If they sound ridiculous I'm recording it and playing it back at the wrong time, like during one of their family gatherings.

My neighbors are literally driving me mad!!!! They've lived above me for 3 weeks, and for 17 or 18 of those nights they have had wall-thumping, high-decibel sex at 2 am, 4 am, and 6 am EVERY NIGHT!!!! I am so sleep deprived I'm about to kill one of them!!

Well now it depends if its an old couple (50's and beyond) or a young couple (20ish) then the sounds will be either, yucky or honey can we?

Not that it's my fault that they are so loud that I could hear them from my own living room...but...I'd feel as if I were invading on their privacy. It's an intimate moment that I am now being forced to take part in. I'd find it HIGHLY annoying, and even rude; especially if these neighbors know in advance how far noises travel in the area.

It's only annoying if you are not getting laid. If you in-between relationships, then it scores a BIG Zero. It also sucks when you are trying to study for a college exam the next morning. . .

This is very annoying and embarrassing as well. I don't want to know THAT MUCH about my neighbors' sex lives! I used to live in a building that didnt have much insulation, so I used to regularly hear my upstairs neighbor going at it with her boyfriend. I did not think it was cute to her squeals! I have since moved and though I have a couple above me I have not heard them having sex. So either there is better insulation here or they have sex when I am asleep or not around.

Terrible, some women seem to enjoy making monkey noises. Whatever happened to discretion? I thought I had stepped into Jurassic Park one time the neighbors next to me were so terrible.

More unpleasant than annoying. It's more embarrassing or humorous (the sounds that some people make just crack me up) than irritating, unless it's late and I'm trying to sleep.

Extremely annoying, and especially if the female neighbor is screaming beyond what is realistic. One time in Laramie, Wyoming we had a really loud single female neighbor, and she used to go thru boyfriends alot. Well she had one and every night they were together you could hear her loud and clear...she sounded like a cat being killed. It was just horrific, and finally I had enough and banged on her door and told her there is no way in hell that guy could be that dang good ! Give me an ever lovin' break !
