    Nancy Drew: The Captive Curse is part of the acclaimed Nancy Drew games series created by Her Interactive. In this installment of the series, Nancy investigates the strange goings-on at Castle Finster that seem to center around a mysterious monster. This rich blend of puzzle-solving, exploration, and general mystery was everything you could ask for from a game relating to the well-known detective Nancy Drew. It contains all the excitement of reading Agatha Christie or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, but gives you full interaction into the story instead of just requiring you to guess at the culprit. Everything folds into everything else smoothly, akin to a real mystery. Naturally, I did have some help from a walkthrough found online, but games like this usually require some kind of outside assistance. I liked the flow of the story, even though it had a tendency to stop dead and force me to go over my tracks in order to progress. The end, I admit, was a tad predictable (for me, anyway)....
