Thunder and Lightining

I do believe a person should have a respect for lightning and realize that it can injure, and even cause death. But I am not afraid of lightning. I try not to be out in it, if at all possible. But if I have to, I use every precaution I can. Thunder, on the other hand, is another issue. It is very startling. I can't tell you the number of times that I have jumped out of my skin when I heard an unexpected thunder boom.

I love thunder and lightning. I even like when the power goes out and I get to light candles and use those dusty flashlights.

Oh I love the stuff. Nothing better then a thunder and lightning storm to get the blood pumping.

I like the different weather so it isn't really scary to me. It should be really. I know it could be dangerous so I may turn something off or stay out of the shower. I should go for cover. My aunt I never saw was also killed from it in the house so I should really be afraid. There aren't many storms in Phoenix but sometimes. If the thunder were to be really loud where I am I might start to worry. If it is in the distance also I know it can't hurt me.

I know lightning is scary to some, my mum for example doesn't like thunder and lightning; but personally I quite like watching the lightning as it gives me something to photograph!

In my much younger, and slightly dumber days, I used to stand out in a field and watch the lightning strike various areas. Needless to say I no longer do this. I climb lightning rods now to get a better view.

I think its beautiful. I love that stuff. A very loud crack of thunder tho will get my attention lol

I have a damn healthy respect for it... Especially when it strikes close to home. I've been in a few close calls and it'll make the hair on the back of your neck stand at attention that's for sure.

I love thunder and lightning and I will often seek it out/chase it trying to get photos.

Sky to ground lightning strikes are frightening to me and thunder that sounds like explosions are concerning.
