Fantastic Airline, its a breath of fresh air this industry needs. The staff were great, very helpful and very expedient. Everything was clean and tidy. Well worth the money you pay, i fully recommend this airline.

I love Virgin air. They are a great airline with wonderful service. I recently flew from Newark to Heathrow with no problems. I will say I was a bit annoyed that my bf and I decided to take one suitcase and not 2 and we were charges an over the weight fee even after explaining we only had one bag and not 2, which we were allowed. Overall, the flights are great. Our crew was friendly and the travel bag they give you with toothpaste and brush, sock, eye mask, and notepad is a really nice gesture. The food was also decent.

I flew with Virgin america a few times NY to SFO, the cabine is great, the service is great, the flight attendant look happy and they do always their best to fly on time and give the best they can. I hope they will continue this kind of service that way I can continue to use them. The only bad part is that in New York they use JFK and JFK is horrible to drive too and their is a lot of traffic. I wish they could fly from White Plains or another smaller airport...

I've flown Virgin a few times, both economy and business. Some people below complain about the space in economy, but it's no better or worse than any other European airline. I think the complaints come from the fact that American companies offer slightly more room (but that's definitely all they can offer). Other than that, Virgin is the company that goes that extra mile to make you feel like you're not just cattle. Their business experience is absolutely first rate, the lounge in Heathrow is amazing. The only downside is the food on board, even in business class. Definitely... british! Apart from that, it's an airline with a twist, one that make you feel they care. Try British Airways, then Virgin, and you'll understand...

I travelled from Dublin to Newark via Heathrow on Virgin in July 2002. On the return my flight was turned back to JFK due to a safety issue so I missed my connection in Heathrow. I was told to go to the virgin desk where they would re-book me and advise on my luggage. When i asked the person at the desk about my luggage she screamed at me, we dont do luggage here. She continued to be rude and shout at me through the whole re-booking process. When I told her she was rude she screamed no you are the rude one, to me. Obviously I complained and asked for the number to Richard Branson's office which they would not give me. They claimed to have upgraded me on the flght to Dublin but i never received this upgrade. I wrote to customer service and after receiving several condescending replies I contacted Richard Branson's office directly. The person in his office was even more condescending, she basically told me she did not believe me but would send me a bottle of whiskey just to put and end t... Read more

Compared to some major Airlines Virgin isn't that bad. How many airlines allow you to play games, have decent in-flight food, constantly fill your glass with a different range of drinks instead of water and juice and have a decent selection of the latest film realeases? Not to mention good air-conditioning. I found Virgin to be friendly and the price of my ticket decent. I would definitely use them again.

An Outstanding display of customer service throughout. I will never fly with another airline provider if VIRGIN is available. Great job Richard and the gang. [email protected]

Only airline that ever considered installing urinals in the shape of a woman's mouth.

Virgin Atlantic has been the best airline I have flown to (and from) Europe. Great service, one really great airline meal (the others were about par for the industry), lots of nice little amenities. It's my airline of choice to Europe.

I fly to Europe about once a year. My worst European flight EVER was a non-stop from Los Angeles to London on Virgin Atlantic. The people are packed in like sardines. If your idea of a terrific transatlantic flight is sitting for 10 hours in a seat with the person in front of you 2" from your lap (no exaggeration when their seat is pushed back) and tons of hand held video games then Virgin Atlantic is the airline for you.

The worst fight to Europe I ever took was on Virgin Atlantic. Absolutely no space! I felt like a sardine in a can for hours. The personal in flight movie feature is a plus, but still doesn't make up for the cramped conditions.

I flew Virgin a number of years ago and thought the service was great and the fare was reasonable.

I thought some of the Virgins needed more experience. I saw rudeness to several passengers, and was angry that they held my carryon to a weight limit that kept me from bringing two liters of water on board. Yet there was never enough to drink. I will not boycott them, but I sure wouldn't recommend them.

I just returned From England on Virgin and it is by far the world's best airline. Messages on board, 8 movies to choose from, playstation games, good food, free booze. The 8 hour plane trip flew by literally and fuguratively. HAH!

Richard Branson has gone out of his way to make Virgin one of the world's premier airlines. Makes flying fun, the way it should be!

I think Virgin Airlines is the best because they are always on the look out for what new innovation customers will enjoy, such as massages in the plane (:
