I do not like Russia and its politics. They support all separatists in the region and supply them with arms. Look what they have done with Moldova. They support Transnistria and want this land to belong always to them. In fact Transnistria is Moldavian land! Russians have no freedom on mass media, everything is under Putin's control and people watch on TV what HE permits! Putin is good in brainwash. People live in poverty in Russia and majority are drunkers. Russia produces many fake products: cosmetics, perfumes, clothes. I do not want to visit this country. Never.

I'm giving Russia five stars because of their all around wonderfulness. Great (and incredibly competitive) athletes, tasty food, and one of the most beautiful languages I've ever heard. It's hard to learn, though. Also great scenery (so I hear). You can't forget the fabulous art and history, too. I'm rating them based on the culture, not their government, obviously. As seen here in the United States, the public really doesn't have control over what the government does in the long run.

You wouldn't want to live here. Life is very cheap here, especially when it comes to the military. It's a backwards country, regardless of political ideology. Apparently, the education system is very good, but I don't know what is wrong with the people. Not a country I ever want to visit, definitely.

so i was back in the russian far east last year. i can safely say that no land in the united states can compare with the scenery in the khabarovsky krai (a russian province bordering china and the pacific ocean) huge mountains and all types of forest, decidous, coniferous, even a few tropical hardwoods growing in the extreme south near china, siberian tigers, wolves, dholes and both brown and asian black bears are still relatively common in the vast forests that stretch on as far as the eye can see. other than india, i cant think of another country that has so much natural beauty, and unlike india, alot of russia's great lands in the east are virtually untouched, hardly anyone lives in siberia or the far eastern/pacific provinces. i look forward to comming back again soon.

78% of Russians wanted Iraq to win the war. Why are they still listed an one of our allies? Besides the fact that the majority of Russia wanted our troops dead, some Russian companies supported Saddam's terror regime. Former Communist lovers. UPDATE- I still have not been able to figure out as too why thier current criminal over there has not admitted to being a Red yet.

Will they never learn? 70 years of violent Communist regimes killing their own citizens, yet they still want to be Communists. Put the vodka down, remember the sickening violence and oppression during Soviet control, and start using your brains.

First Russia fix figure skating. Some Russian skaters don't deserve medals because of their falls or lack of speed. Than they sell weapons to Iraq. Yuck!

The only thing the Russians have ever done right was revolt from Communism and when that brain-dead drunkard Boris Yeltsin resigned.
