It seems that no matter what vodka I choose and regardless of how much I spend I mostly taste the Orange Crush.

Honestly, this is probably the best mass-produced vodka I've ever tried. It's very smooth as it touches your tongue. Yes, it has a bit of a bite going down, but I like that aspect of this vodka. If you're looking for something without a bite, go drink water, don't drink vodka!

Great Vodka! One of the few Vodkas that don't give me headaches off the bat, plus has a neutral flavor. Good price for what you get. It just tastes and feels pure. This goes between my 1st and 2nd vodka choices, based on price, taste, and feeling the next morning.... Love it and will definitely buy in the future!

Very smooth with a faint hint of flavor of wheat/grain. Extremely good chilled or on the rocks. Also makes a delicious Bloody Mary. Tremendous value for the money. In the past year I've seen the price start to creep up which normally indicates popularity and notarity. Great Swedish Vodka!

This is good Vodka. It was $19.95 for a 1.75 @ CVS. Great price!! If you're making Screwdrivers, be sure to get some premium fresh- squeezed OJ, like Odwalla. Use a shaker too, for best results! :o)

So, having read the reviews here, I decided to give Svedka a try (that, and the fact that it was on sale for $18 for a 1.75L...) I did a blind taste test at home vs. Ketel One, and to be honest, Ketel One was a little bit better. Both were similar in smoothness and burn, but the Svedka had a slight bitter taste not present in the Ketel One. As other reviewers have mentioned, it will be fine for mixing (when I say the bitter taste was slight, I really do mean it was minimal), and the price is really good for what you get; however, if you are into drinking your vodka neat, you'll probably want to give it a pass.

Ok. Decent vodka for the price. But gives you not so decent headache in the morning.

I was a big Svedka fan when it first hit the shelves. I decided to put a 1.75 liter bottle in the freezer to add a little chill to my mix drink. Hours later it was frozen solid. People whom consume good alcohol know that it should not freeze. Must be distilled with too much H2O. Try it for yourself and see. I was really disappointed. Now I realize why I would have one smashing hangover the next morning.

My boyfriend out me on to this drink. I'm a Gin girl but this is smooth and taste very good with any type of chaser. It doesn't have an after taste. You get toasted with just a drink or too, ladies will love it as a cocktail, fellas will love it cause they don't have to think on what to chase it with, cause anything will most likely go with it, Thumbs up!

I am drinking the flavored version now (clementine) because the stock sold out. I have tried several vodkas, including a low end Barton's...ewww. I could hardly drink the cheap vodka, but this mid priced vodka paired with some of the high end ones. It is smooth, and has a pleasant neutral for any mixed drink. (I think the flavored Svedka is shot worthy by a mile) Who likes plain vodka shots anyway? That is what whisky, cognac, and rum are for (and some tequilas!) I think flavored vodka fits right in there! I like a good buzz, and I am finished with my first drink and feel warm and fuzzy.....do try!

I'm so fucked up off Svedka... My ex girlfriend was from Sweden, so this was the vodka of choice when I entered the store... I can't even view what I'm typing right now.. Goddammit this is so awesome... Getting over a marriage that failed due to myself working my ass off. Fuck women... Better off alone and drunk off Svedka. Godbless...

I was a big fan of Stoli, especially Limonnaya. They ruined it by changing to Citron. Switched to Tito's - they ruined it by getting wildly popular and expensive [still tasty!] Tried Svedka plain and never looked back. Finally tried Svedka Citron and it is a little sweet, but I find a smooth rich citrus flavor on the rocks, with or without a lime wedge. It's almost V&T time here in upstate NY, so I expect the Citron to mix nicely.

for the price, Svedka can't be beat.... in fact, according to the vast majority of the patrons of the large (750+) establishment i work at, Svedka is as good as Absolut, and *better* than Stoli...go figure.

Okay, friends...vodka is a "neutral grain spirit." Those who think they can tell enormous differences between top expensive brands and a middle of the roader like Svedka are delusional. This is just excellent for the price. Enjoy! The hangover is no better or worse than any other...let's face it: that's all based on how much alcohol you consume...not the quality of the product -- at least not with vodka. Sobieski is just as good and made pretty much the same way. You're just kidding yourself if you think you're geting a better product than either of these by paying more money.

It's ok... It has kind of a "plastic-y" aftertaste and it's a bit hot. For my money Olifant is way WAY better!

Great value, very inexpensive, so much better than Absolut. Since Costco started selling it at a ridiculous price, had multiple chances to retry. Every time enjoyed it more and more, now definitely in my Top 10. Just a wonderfully smooth, taste and aftertaste free stuff. What a buy!!!

I'm no vodka snob, so I haven't had any of the more expensive brands, but in my price range Svedka is about the best there is. I have no problem drinking an extra, extra dry vodka martini (i.e., couple shots of vodka, throw in an olive or two, no vermouth in sight) made with Svedka, but I wouldn't do it with anything else available for well under $20.

Svedka is not bad, but it is certainly not great. If Banker's Club warrants a 1-star, then Svedka probably ranks with Finlandia as garnering a solid 3-star. It is not bad vodka, but it is a bit harsher than the smoother types like Absolut or Stolichnaya. If you can afford it, I recommend you spring for the slightly more expensive brands.

This vodka is super smooth and refreshing. I often cook with this Vodka and it makes a perfect vodka sauce, but make sure you cook it for a very long time because this vodka has flavor. Chill in your freezer and pour a glass to relax, but don't have too much or it might not be a relaxing night. Also, mix with cranberry and lime juice for a treat!

This Vodka is available at as low as $9.99 per fifth. This is the best vodka in the 9.99-11.99 dollar price range hands down. If this shit was a bit more expensive who would think anything of it?

Like many others I find this one of the best in the "middle priced range" vodkas. This is about the only brand I buy anymore. I like my martinis and dont have the budget to keep kettle one or belvadere in the house so once I tried Svedka, I was hooked. Update: Since a friend sold me on Luksusowa vodka....Svedka has moved to number two.

Tastes ok, there are many better vodkas out there for similar prices. This vodka has a harsh afterbite though. try Absolut or three olives for the price tag.

I find that Svedka Vodka is more affordable than Grey Goose and taste great. I use to be a Grey Goose only fan until the time Americans were protesting French products. The man at the liquor store showed me an article in The Wine and Spirits Magazine that Svedka was rated #2 and Grey Goose was #1 for taste. So I decided to try the Svedka and now Svedka is #1 to me.

I'm a Kettle and Goose fan, but for the money, pure quality and just fine as a mix, I'll stick with Swedka Vodka for a good while. I just bought my first 1.75L in Beavercreek, Ohio for $25. A 1.75L Goose was about $50. Go Svedka!!!

Judging by the reviews I can the predictions that as svedka became more popular the price would rise were right on the mark. It's now more expensive then pinnacle around my neck of the woods. Pinnacle is cheaper and bit more clean. This isn't terrible vodka but worth a few more bucks hard to say since I really like svedka advertising. Any company that has the stones to mock $cientology can't be that bad.

Svedka "all natural" Citron is awful. It has a chemical taste that resembles how Lemon Pledge smells. I tried to contact Svedka, but interestingly, their website is not running. I've entered a one star rating only because it was the lowest available. I would actually rate it in the negative.

I got this vodka before learning about burnetts vodka and sobieski vodka. This vodka has a harsh burn to it and does not go down smooth. It's another overpriced, overhyped vodka that has no character to it. It's up there with Absolut and taste better then smirnoff but not much. Mixes well but go with burnetts instead for 1ltr it's 9 bucks! Cant beat that

I was an Absolut lover, I tried Svedka, and I was hooked. I was drinking late into the night, and woke up the next morning and went to the gym for a workout, I had absolutely no hangover! Unbelievable drink. If I'm not careful, I could drink this stuff everynight. I love the smooth taste, excellent mixer, you can hardly taste it.

I love Svedka. The one vodka that is inexpensive and very smooth with no nasty aftertaste. I like Belvadere also, but its way over priced when I can just buy the big bottle of Svedka for less than $20.

Svedka is very good Vodka. My vodka of choice is usually Belvadere however for the price, Svedka has by far become my first pick. As long as their prices are this good and the taste is this smooth, it will stay stocked in my home bar!

Svedka is a very good vodka. Its smooth and you barely can taste it. I mix it with cranberry juice and find it to be very good, and at an absolutely great price. I find it to be better than Grey Goose and Absolut. I just have to find a Costco that carries liquor and compare the Svedka to the Kirkland brand that I hear is outstanding.
