I've had my Darkstar for 2 days now and all I have done are ollies. There is already 4 or 5 stress fractures one right in the middle of the deck, 1 or 2 around the trucks, and one gigantic one going down the side. It's already chipped and beginning to razor tail. I bought a complete and the grip tape sucks I've already worn it down on the edges to were it is completely smooth. The pop isn't bad but the deck is weak. 2 thumbs down for this one.

I bought my first armor light about six months ago. I just bought my second one only because I got razor tail with my other. I love how light it is. It is fu**in' dope. I stand behind these boards one hundred percent. I am not a shit*y skater either. I kickflipped an 8 stair with these boards and It didnt even get pressure cracks till like 5 months in. These boards are a work of art. Love 'em!

I bought a darkstar standard deck (7.5in) and I find it very reliable and easy to do tricks with. It rides just like my plan B deck and its lighter than my girl anderson deck. The darkstar has plenty of pop and I feel like I control the deck. Since it is so light I don't have to put much effort into my tricks such as ollies. And it is also strong just like my girl anderson deck. Yes I would recomend a darkstar to a skater, they are a very reliable deck, however any deck you purchase will work, just make sure it is the right fit for you. Thats how people break their decks, it is because they buy a type of deck they never used and never take the time to get use to it before they do tricks. My advice is to ride it around and get used to the concave, nose, and tail before taking it to the park and you will have the deck for a long time.

Do not, I repeat DO NOT buy an armor light deck. The thing is the biggest piece I have ever rode. Usually a deck will last me a while but after less than a month the plys seperated and cracked on the nose and the tail as well. I dont do stairsets or abuse it in any way, all I do is just play skate and shit on flat ground and then this happens. now i'm stuck with a board thats falling apart and wont just break. It has no pop anymore and just bends like crazy like its a god damn diving board. This was the worst waste of money I've ever had.

first of all darkstar isnt the greatest brand of skate board. second they are lacking in pop and strength (unless it is an aromr lite, a brick house) and finally, a deck should only last you for a month or two and if you broke it in a week-2 or less, you suck at taking care of your board

The Darkstar Armorlights are the shit. I have owed 3 one lasted me 4 months as a beginner and i only replaced it cause i razor finned it. the second lasted me 6 months before i finally snapped it. my 3rd is going strong. the older models suck but the newer armor lights are awesome.

i have a darky for about 2yrs and it's sill in prete good shape although i'd rather have a girl, it's aieght. the deck is heavy but it has great pop and is beast at stair skating. the only thing else that sucks is that the tail chips alot and after a while there is no pop. monseur malcolm a bientot.

Okay, I have a Machnau armorlight and it's pretty good. great pop, but the flip is hard to master. Also, if you like concave boards, these are the shit. fully dipped. so overall, great board, but not number one. A zero would probably be better.

There pretty good, i mean its a deck ive got a resin 7 team modle nothing speical. iv had it for about 2 months now i just broke 3 peices off the nose and tail today but then again i break about a deck a month so its doing unuasualy good. thats pops solid flips pretty good slides ok its a good deck. only thing i can say would be a twad nicer is the pop is a bit uncoftorbal, like the tail feels fat almost but once u get used to it they pop pretty decent

I just bought a Darkstar Momolu, and by far it is one of the best decks. I'm an oldschool skater and I'm use to fairly wide decks, but once I got on the Momolu, it was an easy transition. It is part of the Amor Light series with a carbon composite layer and and ultra light maple veneers. This deck is super light and really strong. I'm 6'1 and 200lbs and I've ollied off some high platforms and ramps and this deck is holding up nicely. It has nice concave with a tail and nose for some nice pop. It was over 15 years since I've last skated, but when I got on the Darkstar, I was ollieing over 3 decks and landing kickflips the very first day. So to summarize: great deck, tons of pop and concave, and extremely light and strong.

i got my darkstar for christmas and its amazing. it still hasnt cracked after skating the 8 stair by my house a dozen times. the pop is great at first and it holds better than my last few boards. no chips yet and it slides fine

i have a darkstar delusion, it rides well, has good pop, but it got hard core warped in the cold, i think...like 8 degrees weather, but thats really not the boards fault i think...the armor lights are very strong, hence the name Armor Light, but are heavier because they are made with an extra ply of wood....i would reccommend them...and plus the graphics are just amazing.

Darkstars are both good and bad, mostly good. My first board I bought was a darkstar and I thought it was horrible but I just sucked then. When I bought my second board I started riding that until it broke. So I was outta money and went back put all the stuff back on the darkstar and it was a lot better than when it was before. Great board recommend them for beginners and good people good pop good shape I couldn't snap mine until i put it up against a curb and jumped down on the board. Great buy get one. Darkstars are better after like a month.

I have a Darkstar now. Unfortunately, I have just bought it so I don't know if the pop is just the pop you get on every new board or longlasting YET. But, overall the flip is really good and so far, the pop has been good. Also, I like handrails and so far the paint is scratched but no more than any other board but, I'll make another comment on them when I've had it for like a month on the pop then.
