I had a birthday party for my six year old daughter on August 25, 2012 at 2:30 PM. The party was located at the Chuck E Cheese on 2940 E. South Blvd, Montgomery, AL, 36116. It was horrible. I made reservations online 2 weeks before the event. The table was not set up when I arrived and I was told to be there by 2:15 since my party started at 2:30. The party host was suppose to wait on us for the 2 hour duration since I reserved it, but I had to hunt her down several times. The birthday cake was brought out 30 minutes before we ate it and was left on the stage uncovered where people were walking by unattended. Also I ordered ice cream with the cake but it was brought out after the cake was served once the children went back to play games. I am extremely upset with this particular Chuck E Cheese. The manager really did not care and did not reprimand the party host at all. She thought it was a joke. When you are spending your money you want to feel appreciated and respected. Not all Chuc... I visited Chuck E Cheese restaurant with my 2 year old daughter for the first time ever for a birthday party. This one was located in Silver Spring, MD. I already knew the place was known for bacterial, viral infestation, but that is not my complaint. I was in the toddler's section with my daughter for the rides and as soon as I put a token into the machine, seven other unruly kids who appeared to be about 6 or 7 jumped on the ride scaring my two year old. Clearly they weren't toddlers and shouldn't have been there in first place. The parents or the establishment provided no supervision to their out of control kids and cared less about what they are doing to other kids. Very dangerous! Most parents seemed responsible, but I think many were there to dump their miserably undisciplined kids so they can take their bitter lives out on someone. It is a terrible thing to say, but some people really shouldn't be having kids, and many of them were there yesterday. Chuck E Cheese should... Read more

I used to take an ex-gf and her kids here, you know, to foster competition and DOMINATE AT AIR HOCKEY. I think in 3 months this place got about two grand out of me, but damn it, I love air hockey.

Having raised two children, I've been to one of these quite a few times. Don't know how or if they've improved over the years, but it was a good place to lose the kids for a while. To prepare for a visit to these germ pits, I'd wear a Hazmat suit with two holsters; one with a bottle of Pepto-Bismol and the other with a bottle of Lysol Spray and I'd scan Chuck E with an infra-red light before I'd let my kids hug that big rat.

We take our son there once a month to play some games and tire him out for the night. He wanted to have dinner there last month and reluctantly I agreed figuring I could have something else when I got home. The pizza was ok, to my surprise, and the place had been remodeled/expanded as well. It's not a place I'd suggest but at least it wasn't the worst food I've had.

Seriously? I LOVE Chuck E Cheese's! My niece absolutely adores it. The pizza is fresh, and they just changed the recipe, so it tastes much better than before! The birthday parties are fantastic! I did not feel rushed at all and the hostess took care of everything for me. The online coupons are a great deal. For the same price for a two large pizzas at Pizza Hut I can get a large pizza, drinks, and tokens! Whenever I had a problem with a game the attendant would immediately come over to fix it for us and reimburse our lost tokens plus some! The managers were really nice, and if I needed anything I could find a staff member to ask for it. The noise is horrible, but you get that at any place made specially for kids. Chuck E Cheese's isn't that horrible - I'd much rather endure that than family night at a school! :)

Chuck E. Cheese is such a fun place to bring your kids. I love that they stamp your hand, and you children’s hand with the same number, to make sure no one walks out with them, and that there is a gate so your kids can’t walk out. You can eat and not have to stare at your kids constantly. My daughter loves going here, and the games are only 1 token, so you don’t have to spend too much on the games.

Well, my boys Love it, so it gets a few stars for making them happy. Most adults however, will pull their hair out at the mere sight of this chain. I tolerate it for now knowing that in a few years my boys will be Older and I'll be rid of this place.

Unless you have kids & are used to screeching brats, don't go there. In fact,I propose it would be a good way to discourage teen pregnancy if high schools would make it mandatory for each student to work there for a few weeks.

What shall I tell you. it was crowded, dirty, noisy and the food was terrible. I don't understand what people like about this place other than the kids can play there. However, my kids got tired of playing pretty soon and I was bored to death myself. We have visited the place because my husband kept bugging me to try it, but it was time and money wasted.

Chuck E Cheese is a sneaky sneaky business. I did some snooping and the so called costume contest with the big prize of a free trip to Chuck E Cheese ( Oh wow! They're really going all out! Spendin bug bucks!) Is really a ploy to get talent for the agency CEC-Creative entertainment. I mean all I had to do was check th...e e-mail and where it was going, sooo wrong, Pictures being sent to places for other uses without consent, isnt that illigal? Because of this little scam I'm rating it a one for tricking us. They probably got paid some money but not much because of the cheep prize the offer. Honestly thats what gave it away for me. I was like why all this trouble for One trip to Chuck e Cheese. They would probably loose to much to give away a year or something to one kid, wow! One trip for one Kid in all the Contest!

We went as a fund raiser for my daughter’s school. The prices were crazy for the quality of the food, the food was awful. The casher shorted us the free tokens (10) and then tried to ask for another coupon, the first one still in his hand. The games were horrible, 25% of what we played either didn’t work at all or didn’t give out tickets when you won. I think the worst was by far the quality of food, our cost for your #1 and some wings was $40. My daughter was very disappointed that nothing worked and it constantly kept taking our money. I told the waitress that the pizza tasted very bad and she just walked away. I will never return and will post this text everywhere I can leave feedback. Location: 7012 E. The worst service and pizza in the world, and biggest ripoff in prices anywhere. The pizza tastes like cardboard and is definitely frozen before baked. I can buy a cheap pizza at the store for less than $2.00 and bake it myself and much better flavor.

Took my kids to the CEC in North Olmsted, Ohio 3 times in the past two years. Once they ended up with Croup Infections, once they ended up with Pneumonia, and once my youngest at 2 years old contracted a STAPH INFECTION. Disgusting. Its not clean, and we will never go back. No matter how much you wash their hands, the toys are filthy and yucky snot nosed kids are rubbing their germs all over EVERYTHING. Its a cesspool of unclean unhealthy things... The tables are not clean, they have old half eaten food all over, the toys are filthy, the games are filthy, the floors are groos... I cannot even begin to imagine what groos things are growing in those huge climbing tubes... EW. Nobody watches their kids... I dont see how you just walk in and sit your big butt at a table and turn your small children loose to run around like maniacs. Or your big children, that are too big to be there anyway. No supervision, knocking kids over, knocking people over. Never again will I go there, it is a disea... Read more

I absolutely loathe this place, I could not imagine hell being any more unpleasant. NOISE decibels like you are standing behind a jet engine, extremely hot due to at least 100 hyperactive spoiled brats demanding playing time and attention and last but not least THE FOOD IS DISGUSTING. One employee (Jewel) forced me to visit the manager due to her rudeness. NEVER, EVER again will I set foot in a CEC establishment, I would much rather scrap roadkill off a highway, soak it in clorox then eat it off a rotting cows buttocks than eat at this filthy and ear numbing kiddy bait store. My brother had the displeasure of shelling out $200 bucks for 9 adults and two kids. Imagine that, $200 for crap so kids could play video arcade games in a abnoxious adult environment.

Yes, the kids love it. But kids also love rusty playgrounds, playing in mud puddles, and Chipmunk movies. I have a 5 and 4 year old. We ONLY go for parties we are invited to and to be honest, we won't be going to those anymore. As I sit here with my son who is throwing up 2 days after a party there (which, shockingly is routine EVERY time we go to CEC), I have finally convinced my hubby that we are not going to set foot in that place again. The general area is fine, I'm sure the games are cleaned every once in a while. But the tubes they climb through? How on earth do they get up there to clean them? Answer, they don't. The only time my kids haven't been sick from CEC is when they didn't get into the tubes. Keep in mind I'm not a bubble mommy. My kids aren't prone to be sick, I don't keep them at home because I'm scared they will get sick. I don't walk around sanitizing everything they might come in contact with. But CEC is the ONLY place I've had this problem at. The f... Read more

Ugh, what happened!?! Their food used to be good, but now it absolutely sucks. Going there is a nightmare. It takes about an hour to get some food that is very dry & super expensive. My advice is to spend your money at some other place that serves pizza. This place is loud and it's embarrassing to go there if you don't have a kid with you.

Ok, I am the chick who hates pizza chains. I love mom & pop places. The only non-mom & pop pizza I like is Tony's frozen pizza (the crust is just so crisy and tasty, and the cheese tastes fresh somehow). But anyway. To be completely honest, the only time I had Chuck E Cheese's pizza as an "adult" was when I was a camp couselor at the age of 15. Maybe we just came there on a good day, because I thought the pizza was the bomb! The cheese was flavorful, there was tons of yummy sauce, and the crust was crispy without tasting burnt, just the way I like it. I heard some of the other counselors saying "Ew, we have to eat cardboard pizza," but I thought it had a pleasant, unique taste. Maybe I'm just crazy... Or maybe it was just such a huge step up from my usual Lunchables. I really don't know. I give Chuck E Cheese pizza between an ok & good rating, but I give the establishment a bad rating because I deplore the concept of kids going to a place where they can only have a good time by raid... This isn't pizza, this is greasy cardboard with red glop and wall-paper paste. The upside is you get to eat it surrounded by the ambience of shrieking, hyper-active 10 year olds and constantly ringing video games.  Which is fine, if you're a shrieking, hyper-active 10 year old, but not so good for any non-comatose adult. I've been here three or four times, some years ago, for birthday parties for one of my kids friends, and I will never attend again, under any circumstances, for any conceivable bribe or incentive. Short of a blow job from Scarlett Johansson, of course.

I'm giving this a four because of the wonderful childhood memories in the early/mid '80s. I don't remember what the pizza was like (pizza was pizza to me back then), but they had all these fun games and programs for the kids during their birthday parties. I had a good time. I have no idea what it's like anymore.

You're never too old to celebrate your birthday here. I celebrated my 18th at Chuck E. Cheese's. They have a variety of games from classics like Ski-ball to arcade zombie shooting games. I really enjoy that. I don't enjoy the prices and the service. It's really disorganized and slow. The birthday party area is really crowded. It makes having a birthday party there less enjoyable when you're sitting elbow-to-elbow with a mom taking care of her fussy kids at the next table over. Their prices are also pretty expensive, though if you get cupons it's not so bad. Getting prizes is a lot harder now that they added the "ticket crunching" feature which counts out all of your tickets one-by-one, instead of just taking your tickets to to the counter and having them guesstimate how many you have. The better prizes are a lot more expensive, which is a let down. The food is okay. The salads are good, but the pizza isn't the best. Most kids would enjoy Chuck E. Cheese's, but it's just not the same to... Read more

You must be on some sort of DRUG to be anywhere NEAR a place like this with your child. Adults that take children to a place like Chuck E. Cheese's should be charged with felony child abuse. This place is terrible on so many levels. Number one ~ it's FILTHY. There isn't enough cleaning that can be done by their team of 16-18 year old staffs (the majority of them are this age) that can satisfy a "good" parent's expectations for having their children playing and eating intermittently. Second ~ it promotes uncivilized behavior in kids AND adults. Parents causing fights that require police response. Ridiculous. Kids thinking that it's perfectly normal to run around a restaurant, yell, play and show a total lack of care and concern for those around them. Try watching a kid in a sit down restaurant or buffet that is a regular at the local Chuck E. Cheese as well. You'll notice that they behave the same in both; like lunatics! Third ~ why in the HELL would someone claiming to be marketing the... Read more

At first I thought CEC was a horrible place, loud, frantic, plain crazy. Then I realized how much fun the kids are having and I started playing some games, too. All by sudden it seemed less noisy...(-: The food in our CEC (Woodbridge, VA) is excellent (at least Pizza and salad bar, we haven't tried anything else so far). If you look out for coupons and offers you will find it's not that expensive, great for a rainy day. The staff is friendly. The only downpoint are the gifts the kids can earn with their tickets, very cheap, disappointing...not worth saving poins up for.

I will really give this about a 2.5. I suppose it is a nice place for birthday parties for kids under 10.It is a miseralbe place for adults. Our local Chuckie Cheeses is too small for how many people they cram into this place. As a matter of fact I am surprised that the fire marshall has not closed the restaurant down since it is way too crowded. Everything is packed into this restaurant. It is very noisy for one thing I for one dread it when we get invited to a birthday party there. The food is not very good and expensive for what you get. The only reason i am even giving this a 2.5 is at least the little kids seem to like the place.   and the pizza is only average nothing to go there for.

I just recently took my daughter to Chuck E Cheese in Texas during the day time while the restaraunt was completely empty, at first I thought it was closed but walked in and they were serving. I thought, this is great it will give my daughter time to play games and the restaraunt won't be so loud. There were two small children I noticed running around but I didn't see any other adults supervising these children. I went ahead and let my daughter run a muck, watching her dance to the music and watching the robotic mouse talk and dance too. She thought it was wonderful until these one of the other small children who weren't supervised started pushing my two year old daughter for no reason. I asked the little girl to stop and not do that again. When I went to go get some more tokens for my daughter to put into her favorite game, I turned around to check on her, and the little girl was pushing my daughter and had pushed her the third time before I could say to stop that to her. Are parents that selfish that they think that something boring to them means they should not go? Stop complaining about the food it was meant for kids to enjoy the pizza.  It is for kids to enjoy, you parents don't like it well that is to bad.  Are you that selfish that you don't want your kids to have fun?  You complain about how it costs to much, I look for cheap things but it is your own d*** fault for buying their food, I don't buy their food.  In case you didn't know you don't have to buy their food in order for your kids to have fun.  Unless you want your kids to be bored and go crazy.  Well Chuck E Cheese is not bad, the skytubes have to many germs you don't have to allow your kids to go in their.  And eat before you go kids play more than they eat at Chuck E Cheese.  Well I love the place because for me it is free drinks and tokens are free and I eat before I go I don't pay for chuck e cheese anymore.  And you complaining parents spend way to much their well your kids should no... I am not going back to CEC in my area, Thousand Oaks. The employees are lazy in helping out customers on the customer, especially this fat guy named James. He did not do anything all night except watch us to see if we shared our son's lemonade drink which we didnt since we asked for see-thru cups for our just plain water. Same with the all you can sald bar. Nasty BIG James!!! He is obviously not being paid well enough that he can't do his job right. It was an empty place. I will make sure that everyone I know especially the number of people from Amgen will know what a lousy CEC this is and a waste of money for the kids, and very bad customer relations.
