Chik-Fil-A is without a doubt the most highly overrated fast food restaurant in North America. I'm a normal, blue-collar type guy, and I not only have pretty simple tastes, but I'm not a picky eater either, never have been. But I have never tried ANYTHING at Chik-Fil-A that I liked, and I have been there many, many times. Wait a minute, I take that back..the soda was pretty good, they do manage to get that right, somehow. "But, if you don't like it, as you say, how come you've been there so many times?" you ask? Well, I used to work with my brother-in-law, and he insisted on going there all the time on our lunch breaks, he loved it for some reason I still cannot fathom. The waffle fries that so many people rave about tastes like cardboard, and the chicken tastes like it's been deep-fried in corn syrup. Everything is just so..BLAND. Bland bland bland. Don't waste your money.

Really, really mediocre. Their chicken sandwiches are nothing special.

I LOVE Chick-fil-a. Especially the Chick-fil-a sauce. The one I live by used to have a deal where you could give them a ticket of a movie you saw from a nearby movie theatre and you could get a chicken sandwich or nuggets with a large fry and large drink for $3.60!! This promotion lasted for a very long time, but unfortunately they recently ended it.

Chick Fil A knows how to do it right. High quality service people. Carried my tray to the table because I had a child. Manager offered to watch my table while I took the child to the bathroom. Very nice play area. Very noisy and crowded but they handle it right...and what can I expect...it will draw a big lunch crowd when they do everything the best. Wish they were open on Sunday's sometimes but I understand the values. They deserve the best rating if they have the kind of food you are looking for.

The chicken isn't very good at all. It's either too mushy or too dry. Their wraps aren't that great either. The food is fairly bland, quite honestly. I do, however, enjoy their fries, especially when they're freshly cooked and nicely salted.

We don't have a location in our area but when we drove down to Erie, Pennsylvania we decided to try it out. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and it was pretty good. My wife was a little less than impressed with her chicken wrap but we both liked the waffle cut fries. I was surprised when one of the staff, who was cleaning tables, offered to get us refills. If they open a location in our area I'd try it again.

Recently I took my kids to dinner at Chick-fil-a. The chicken sandwich I bought had a hard, black, charcoal-like object in it. When I bit into the sandwich, the object split my bicuspid tooth down to the root. This tooth has to be pulled - a painful and expensive procedure to fix, and one that I have to pay for. This object could have posed a choking hazard to a child as well as an adult, in addition to destroying a tooth!

Up until recently I'd never eaten at one of these, and didn't feel I was missing much, since most of what I knew about them came from the adolescent rants of RIA reviewer ClassicTVFan, who apparently lived and breathed for this shit. Chick-Fil-A does not exist in Canada, and is pretty thin on the ground in the northwestern U.S., so the "temptation," to use the term very loosely, never arose. However, personal business took me to Bellingham and Western Washington University a while before Christmas, and one of these outlets exists there. Apparently it is the only one in the state, according to signage, and if the food is anything to go by, the state authorities would do well to pass legislation keeping any further outlets out. Against my better judgement, and with a silent nod to CTVFan, I had something called a Grilled Chicken Sandwich, which appeared to be made of heated rubber dipped in spices, and served on a soggy bun. Couldn't finish it. Even the fact that the place had a ... Read more

1 star! How come every time I visit chick-fil-a and ask for condiments, I always seem to get an attitude or not what I was asking for? What part of mustard do you not understand? Mayonnaise tastes nothing like ketchup. The pickles are limp and tasteless and soggy. Hoover,Alabama drive-thru Chick-fil-a sucks!  -- Sent from my Palm Pre

I love Chick-Fil-A for their fresh salads first and foremost, and the chicken sandwiches don't hurt my feelings either. I just have one gripe about Chick-Fil-A, they're not close enough to my house.

Good food and really nice staff, though this hasn't been the case with every Chick-Fil-A I've eaten at. Prices are high but fair I guess considering the quality of the food and service. Will continue eating here.

I love Chic-Fil-A Salads, but I wish they would cut up the lettuce so that when I open it, I can start eating. It takes me about 15mins. to cut up the salad to bitable sizes. I normally go to the one on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, NC. I get a salad at least (3) times a week. Once I got a salad at the Six Forks Road location. It was perfect. I cut up my chicken, put on the dressing, seeds and croutons and started eating. I called the manager and thanked him for such a good salad. If I had the time, I would go there to get my salads. But.......I work on Glenwood Avenue and the one on Glenwood is less than a mile. Anyway, thanks for reading my concern. It would just be nice to have the lettuce cut up better and smaller.

I was on vacation in Orlando, Fl, and my family and I visited one of your restaurants. That was our first time visiting a Chick-fil-a restaurant and the service was excellent. The store was so nice and well-mainted. Our server, LaToya was so well-mannered and helpful to us. She was very friendly and patient. She upheld the 2nd mile service standard that you guys have for your restaurant. And beside the food being delicious, our visit to your restaurant was outstanding. It was a visit that will be kept in our memory forever! Colonial Plaza Market Center Store #616

I just love Chick-fil-a, for several reasons. The food is good, but the customer service is outstanding! I am a young mom of a toddler and expecting another baby soon. Employees are always so willing to help me, bring a high chair, grab refills for us, whatever. Even the people taking the orders are always so friendly and fast. I look forward to going there because I know it will never be a hassle and it's clean. Which is way more than I can say for many other fast food restaurants. With a kid's meal, they will even let your children trade in the toy for an ice cream cone! How great is that?! Thank you Chick-fil-a for setting such a high standard for fast food. I wonder what makes them so different?

WOW! I usually never eat fast food. I am from the north east and had never heard of Chick Fil A until I came down to Maryland for the summer. I went with my friend today and I was completely surprised. The menu was pleasantly simple and the prices were very reasonable. The woman that helped me behind the counter was unbelievably nice (and spoke english, which was a bonus from what I am used to at other fast food joints). She helped me out because I had never been there before. The food came in literally about 20 seconds. As we ate, a woman came around and brought us complementary mints and asked if we would like a refill on our drinks. When we were done, she came back to take our trays for us. I was in complete awe. I am sold for life! Great job, Chick Fil A

Chick-Fil-A is the best fast food chain restaurant ever! I love the barbecue sauce. The service is great, the people are MORE than friendly, almost over friendly and are reasonable. The chicken is so good and the fries top it off. I LOvE CHICK-FIL-A! Eatz Mor Chikin! go cows!

Their quality seems to be second to none in the fast food category at a couple dozen different places I've sampled over several years. Aside from the cole slaw which seems to vary a little, it is comfortably predictable and tasty. The grilled chicken also provides a nice alternative to the fried fare. A+.

Okay -- We can't afford to eat here as much as we would like being a family of 2 adults and 5 small children. I do like to whenever we can for the healthier choices (fruit cups, grilled sandwiches, etc.) Tonight was one of the rare occasions that we did have Chick-Fil-A and I have to say that I was SHOCKED and SURPRISED by the customer service. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Upon getting home (20 mins from the restaurant) I found that we were short one of the large fruit cups. I called the restaurant to let them know I would be coming back and they asked if I would like them to deliver it. Deliver it?!? I thought the guy was being a smart @$$! (I know that CFA in some areas of the country, but this not available in my area.) Not only did they deliver it to my house free of charge they gave me several coupons for free chicken sandwiches. That's my idea of GREAT customer service.

I am the pickiest chicken eater ever (not off the bone, no veins, no fat). Their chicken is the best white meat chicken. It is so tender. They also have DELICIOUS waffle fries! I pretty much always get the chicken nugget meal with bbq sauce, buttermilk ranch, and polynesian sauce (all 3 are bomb on the nuggets & fries!)

For all of you who have never been to chick-fil-a why are u rating the place... that's like judging a book by its cover, u just shouldn't do it. I personally have worked for chick-fil-a for 3 years and have enjoyed every moment of it my manager has just opened a new free standing unit in frisco texas and the experience is one I will never forget, they appreciate their employees and gave away a year supply of meals to our loyal guests. I presonally have not had one person leave the store with a frown.. to everyone complaining about the sweet tea, TRY SOMETHING ELSE we don't only have tea... complaining about the original sandwhich get bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato whatever u want added.. don't like the fries, have fruit, soup, cole slaw, carrot and raisin salad, or just a salad..we have grilled chicken salads, strip salads, chicken and fruit salads, spicy salads.. even wraps! I could go all day about what chick-fil-a has to offer if you can't tell so if U didn't likeone thing try anoth... Read more

I used to LOVE chick fil a. I eat there at least 3 times a week. At least I used to - last Friday I found a baby roach in my sweet iced tea. I opened the lid to get a refill, and there it was... sitting on the ice cube on the top. Nasty! The manager didn't seem too concerned, which worried me.

What CROOKS when it comes to using coupons. I had a coupon for a free kids meal that said 4 nuggets OR 2 strips RIGHT ON THE COUPON. They would only give 1 strip. I will never spend ANYTHING there if this is the way they treat people.

I was always afraid to go into one of these. I really don't know why. I suppose because I took one of my ex-wives here for our first anniversary dinner. We never had a second anniversary, and I suppose this gave me a complex.

I have eaten Chick-Fil-A 3 times a week for the past three weeks because it is one of the few convenient places near where I volunteer.  Oddly enough, while I seem to have desensitized to the taste a little bit, I still enjoy the good old number 1 and a side of nuggets.  CFA seems to be especially delicious to children.
