Have you ever noticed that editorial cartoonists lay off Prince Charles?  That's because he is impervious to parody.  There is nothing you could do to him to make him look ridiculous, at least any more ridiculous than he already looks.

European royalty isn't known for its genetic diversity. Queen victoria and Albert were first cousins prince Charles own parents were cousins. Inbreeding can have fun effects on the human body and Charlie is a walking talking example. One of the reasons the royal family were so keen on Diana was her non royal blood.

Nah, he's just drab and non-descript. If he put on regular clothes and showed up to work in a typical office, no one would give him a second look.

Though Prince Charles was definitely ugly in his younger days, in my opinion he has aged relatively well to the point that he blends into the crowd (especially when compared to many on this list). From my discussions with some locals (and as other comments have suggested), the Brits were ecstatic about his marriage to Princess Diana partly due to the influx of new blood to the family tree. Charles Philip Arthur George Mountbatten-Windsor was born 14 November 1948 in Buckingham Palace, London.

Let's see now, Queen Victoria married her first cousin, Prince Albert. I wonder where the hemophilia gene came from? Her son, Edward VII, married Alexandra, the great-great-great grandaughter of King George II of Britain. Of course Edward VII was also the descendant of King George II. His son George V married Princess Victoria Mary of Teck, his second cousin, once removed. His son, George VI, married Elizabeth, the queen mum. This probably was out-breeding because historians can't find much previous connection to the House of Hanover or Windsor. His Daughter Elizabeth II, married the Duke of Edinburgh, her second cousin, once removed. Camilla's great-great grandmother was the mistress of Chuck's great-great grandfather, Edward VII. I wonder where that places Cammie's great grandmother? HMMMM!

Strange to think he really was a very cute little boy. Then he and Anne were subjected to the ill-fated horse hormone experiment as pre-teens and... I don't think all the royals suffer the UGG sydrome though. The queen is a nice average looking woman and I think the late Queen Mother had a very sweet face. Thanks, I'm sure, in part to some new blood, the younger generation seems to be holding up pretty well. Aside from the obvious example of Prince William, Anne's children are also pretty good looking kids.

Definately butt ugly.Maybe it's the in-breeding among the royals that keeps the gene pool free of beauty.

He had all those hotlooking girls lusting after him in the seventies. It's just unfair and ridiculous.

I've heard him described as the Alfred E. Neuman of the British Monarchy.

I'll bet that William is happy that he looks like his mother, may she rest in peace.

Thank God Camilla has undoubtedly hit menopause. What a hideously inbred and ugly looking crew the British royals have been during this century! The ordinary people are ok, often very nice people but I generally loathe the rulers of that land. The product of such an unholy union would be uglier than the result of Shelley Duvall drunkenly copulating with Ed Asner, and, with this regal bunch's human rights record over the last, oh, millennium or so, with their British Isles neighbors and their colonies overseas until quite recent times, would undoubtedly make Damien of The Omen look like Chuck E.Cheese in comparison!

There's something oddly equine about both his and his sister's look. (I think his older son may have a touch of it as well.) I don't like the word "ugly" but I wouldn't hesitate to call them somewhat homely.
