My favorite moment is when Atia send him to a brothel to become a man; Octavian gave her a "Do I have to, ma?" look.Update: The older Octavian is too much of a robot.

He is wonderfully portrayed by this young actor. I'm SOO GLAD tha he chose to "penetrate" a girl rather than a boy when Attia declared that he must cease being a virgin.

Interesting character well played by Max Pirkis (who I last remember as the loveable, one-armed midshipman in 'Master and Commander.') Octavian is strangely prudish and straight-laced for one so young but he's highly intelligent and in possession of keen political instincts. It's fascinating to see the future Augustus Caesar as this gangly and unsure adolescent.
