DO NOT SHOP AT ROBBINS BROS. Two of the side stones fell off within the first month. My warranty expired because I refused to pay $200 for setting the center stone, which is a rip-off. I would not buy the center stone from them, becuase the prices are a rip-off. I know i payed a high price for the ring itself as well. They promise you the world when your there, but everything has a catch.

Terrible. I purchased a $4500 ring a few years back. Just recently got it appraised at 3 different locations. Turns out it's worth about $900. Rip off. DO NOT SHOP AT ROBBINS BROS. They are worse then used car salesmen.

My hubby proposed with a very pretty Halo diamond engagement ring from Robbins Brothers that he bought at the Mission Viejo store. I love the little tiny diamonds on the band and the cushion diamond in the middle. It's really delicate but since it's platinum it will last forever.

We tried to buy diamond studs using the employee discount from a family member and even with the discount Blue Nile and even Tiffany's came out better in terms of GIA rating per dollar. But the Robbins Bros people are trained to look you in the eye and make all these excuses why they don't use the industry standard GIA rating. Don't believe them for an instant. The product is awful. They don't use GIA because they know they'd get bad grades. The minute you leave the store your ring will be worth zilch. The only reason this company still has a few stores is because some investment bankers doubled down after they went bankrupt last year, fired the best people and put in their own puppets. You're better off at a reputable store like Costco or Kay's or Macy's. Or skip the diamond and go with a classy silver or gold band and put the money toward a lovely party, your first home or your kids' education.

I cant begin to tell you in this review how great of a decision it was to have purchased an engagement ring from Robbins Bros in Dallas Texas. From the get go in walking in, I was greeted by a man named Nazir and what a great guy he is. No pressure at all just great customer service, great diamond education, great prices! I have been married for a couple of years now but never got to give my wife a diamond ring until today : ). Even though I had a higher budget, Nazir just plainly gave us his honest opinion and helped us choose the perfect ring for her which was a .72 ct which if you do the research and know about diamonds....we got a great deal and I am 100% sure. I chose to get the replacement if lost warranty for one year and the free cleanings and polish for life...keep in mind that they already offer you a guarantee that if you loose your "diamond" you will get it replaced at no cost. One of the many things that my wife loved about her trip to Robbins Bros is that they give you a ... Read more

I am still in the early stages of shopping for a ring since I will not be proposing until April or May of next year. I must admit that Christine Soliman (Torrance Branch) the rep who helped me was very helpful, knowledgable and extremely professional. She sure changed my perception of Robbins Bros and will more than likely go to her once I'm ready to purchase. You do pay a little more but you also get what seems to be a good warranty plan, great service!!! and free cleanings.

I purchased an engagement ring in February for my wife. She loves it, and the staff in Arlington, TX was unbelievably helpful! The quality and the benefits are amazing! The best value for your money is at Robbins Bros.

I have been with Robbins Bros for over 15 years, back when they were william Pitt Jewelry. I frequent RB in Fullerton, CA. Yes most of there inventory is expensive, none I have seen to be over priced, but you get what you pay for. Some jewelers will sell you a cheaper priced diamond or setting and claim it is of better value. IF your getting a 1 or 2 carrot diamond ring $400-600 dollars cheaper than RB, wanna guess the quality of that ring? Good luck trying to get a warranty on it or a free replacement diamond on those rings. Several rings and misc. jewelry has been purchased at RB and other jewelry stores. RB seems to have it down right. My wedding band and my wifes engagement and wedding band was purchased at RB over 16 years ago, no problems. A few adjustments here and there and a replacement side mounted diamond on the wifes wedding band, no issues. I lost a gold and black onyx w/ 5 diamond ring, during a trip to Vegas. Actually left it in a bathroom after washing my hands. Yeah I ... Read more

i had a great exprience at the robbins bros. in oakbrook,il. yes they do greet you at the door which i thought was great. our salesman eric was very helpful and patient. he was not pushy and spent hours helping my husband and i pick our wedding bands out. we decided to return to purchase my diamond solitare when i'm ready. they have rings for every budget and the quality of ringsnare exceptional. we did shop around before going to robbins bros.,the customer service and variety was better than many jewelers we went to.

Robbins Bros. should be called ROBBING BROTHERS. Learn about diamnods on www.bluenile.com then you will see that what RB has is really mediocre - at best! I stood and watched their "master jeweler" force a daimond into a prong head that was too small for it! I was glad it wasn't mine. Don't kid yourself, your paying for atmosphere. The bogus guarantee program (you can get jewelry insurance for cheap on Blue Nile). I'm giving them 1 star because I drank alot of bottled water they gave me on my 3 visits - after refusing to be pinned down in a room...told them I had a fear of small spaces :) This was at the Dallas, TX store...drive by it on the tollway, go home, and Google "Blue Nile".

I shopped at the Arlington, TX store. The selection was very good and i thought everything was evenly priced. I picked a ring out and when the salesman asked if i needed a application ran, told him no thanks, but he quickly shrugged and started blowing me off. Long story short, I picked one out, he said he would call me with a final quote after I already told him i would take it.... never called me back and wouldnt return my phone calls. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Go to a jeweler that custom makes jewelery, they can make anything by computer from just a picture or whatever, and cheaper (cuts out the the middle man).

Great experience. Great value. My fiance and I shopped around quite a bit before going to Robbins Bros. The Tacori setting that we bought was $300 more at 2 other jewelry stores. I liked that there was a large selection of diamonds to choose from. If you do the math and shop around you'll see that the jewelry at Robbins Bros. is far better quality than most. If it is more expensive, there is probably better quality materials used or more of them.  I did the research on my own and asked specific questions about quality. If you know what to look for you will see for your self. Iit doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that a ring can be double the price if there is double the materials in it. With the warranties that they give you, it is already worth the cost. Which by the way was less expensive than a few of the other places that I had shopped at. I would'nt doubt that I might have gotten a "better deal" from a guy down town holding some random diamonds in a briefcase, or Costco possi... Read more

After visiting my local Robbins Bros (in Galleria area of Houston, Texas) for engagement rings...both his and hers - I was extremely disappointed with the high price point for most (if not almost all the rings they carry). My reason for offering the suggestion to shop prices and consider Robbins Brothers as one of your last-stop options (shop as last resort only) is that you are clearly overpaying for rings that you can get anywhere else for much much cheaper! Case in point. Attempted to see if Robbins Brothers would back off of their high pricing for one of their A.Jaffe designer solitaire 14k rings which was priced higher than all competitors. They had it in my size and I could buy and go right on the spot. They refused to come off the 3,495 ring price (this w/out diamond added in yet) and we are only talking $100 off here. I purchased this same ring for so much cheaper and told them I would do so. Knowing that, they still let me walk away - for $100 request in reduction no less. Zer... Read more

Very disappointed with Robbins Bros. engagement ring and wedding band. The diamonds on each side of my ring are differnt sizes when they are supposed to be the same. We had the ring sized and it seems that they switched the diamond to a poor quality. I only gave them 2 stars because the staff is helpful and friendly. Do not recommend anyone getting jewelry from there.

Robbins Brothers are high pressure overpriced pushy people in San Diego. They ran my credit application which they pressured me to fill out all the while they made my fiancee go outside and wait (trying to split the couple to gain more leverage). The diamonds are overpriced and you can wind up in debt for a long time with this company. Watch out

I wish I could give this store MORE stars. My husband and I went in (Oak Brook, IL) to buy me a diamond ring, they ask what your budget is & what's important to you in a ring... they bring you the stones and setting within your price range, show you what to look for in a diamond, POINT OUT ANY FLAWS!!! allow you to obsess for as long as you need to... Honestly, this is the best customer service I've ever had anywhere. Because it was the first place we looked, we did not buy. But that didn't matter. They gave us all of the information that we needed if/when we do decide to buy there. ASK FOR DEBBIE, she was wonderful.. They're knowledgeable, patient, EXTREMELY professional and non-aggressive. I could go on... but, hopefully you get the picture.

I had the most amazing experience at Robbins Bros about two years ago. We did shop around at other places but found that the prices for the quality of rings and diamonds was very good. I lost my center diamond about 4 months ago when my ring was damaged on a trip. They not only stood by the value promise but let me hand pick the replacement for the diamond when I did not like the one they had on hand that was closest to what I had purchased.

Do not buy from Robbins Brothers. I did not get my ring there but rather had my diamond reset in a differnt prong head. They did not listen to what I wanted and charged me a crazy amount to do it. I was told I could keep my old prong head but when I returned to pick my ring up, they said they no longer had my original prong head. When looking at their rings, I was shocked to see how expensive they were. Do yourself a favor, look at the diamonds at Costco! Way more diamond for way less money.

DO NOT BUY FROM ROBBINS BROTHERS! They do not stand by their best value promise. I was a victim of this horrible store (Torrance) and I would NEVER EVER buy from them again. Their prices are ridiculous and you will NOT be taken seriously if you ever have a complain or concern. Yes, they're very nice when they're trying to empty your pockets.... Good luck later on when you try to complain about something. Robbins Brothers is a rip-off!!!!

Robbins Bros in San Diego was terrible. Totally insulting. They totally act like a sleezy used car dealership. They pull tricks like telling you the ring your interested in could be gone tomorow. Like there aren't tons of 1-2 carrot rings out there. Then they lock you in a little room in the back and make you tell different sales people your not going to buy a ring today. Don't waste your time.

Robbins brothers is an amazing place. You deal with amazing people at least at the one in Fullerton. You never feel pushed to spend more than your budget. You have incredible product and the service is there for years to come. I got my ring , earrings and a custom pendent and still wear them daily. If I ever have a concern I can walk in and get a smile something to drink and service. You get what you pay for people and Rob Bros. never steers you wrong

Robbins Bros was horrible. It's like a car dealership for rings.. they keep passing you off to the next guy on the totem pole. Seriously exactly like a dealership.. even the "back rooms" where you do the deal.. blech. We went to another shop and they not only gave us the respect and explained everything to us, they beat the price by $400. Do not buy from Robbins Bros unless you want to get pushed around and overcharged.
