They are one of the few Churches that preach the TRUTH!!!! Nobody preach the TRUE GOSPEL OF GOD ANYMORE!
They will never force you to tithe. They only tell you the truth which are in the scripture.
Love of money is the root of all evil.
They are using the scripture to warn Christians and it is the truth.
They are the people who follow God's voice and ONLY listen to God when Luke warm now days listen to voice of demons or themselves.
I do not go to their church right now but I still watch their DVDS, and listen to their tapes.
The bible says "Do Not Touch The Anointed"
People who judge them will be watching as they go up in the rapture with Jesus.

SAINTS OF GLORY CHURCH is very deceiving because they use a lot of bible scriptures to back up their own theology. I was hooked for many years - it starts out always nice, but once you get deep into it, they will try to involve your finance. If you know no other Christian churches or do not understand English, you will be easily deceived. Watch out if you are in Asian markets. They basically have distinguished same looks: extremely short hairs (Mr. Spock style - male or female), giving you a pink tract and trying to witness to you. It's like wolves in sheep clothes. RUN FAST if you see them! And a famous quote by M. Gowans : "we are the only church who speaks the truth; if you go to other churches, you will become a backslider!"

NEWS! This church has been listed as one of dangerous religious organizations in Japan since 2008 and had a big law suite in 2009:

http://elfire.blog73.fc2.com/blog-entry-98.html

In 2009 there was a famous law suit against Saints of Glory Tokyo Division for taking all assets from one of the members, and the superior court actually ordered the organization to pay her back 78 million yen ($780,000). You will find news articles of this case in Japanese if you do some search.

If you join the organization however, you will be gradually 'required' to have Mr. Spock type stylish short hair, buy Mary Kay cosmetics products from the pastor, pay and hang the pastor's picture/poster on your wall, donate your own house, etc, etc. They wanted our house, so we left the church. Geez - we should've left long time ago!

Also, be careful, they have a school division - poor children who are brain-washed & poor parents who cannot get out because of the kids.

99 percent of Pastors teach to pay tithes. What's the shock in this? The greater shock is that Christians don't have a concise understanding of what Jesus meant by Paid in full, it is finished. They lack knowledge of the Old Covenant and New Covenant and the vast differences between the two different and distinct methods God used to deal with people before and after Jesus died. The difference is one before Jesus died the covenant was conditional based on lawkeeping and after Jesus the covenant was unconditional by grace through faith alone. Jesus fulfilled the law not partially but totally. The New Covenant is based on Christ and if we are trusting in his payment and works on the cross we are adopted into the covenant with God. How is it that a majority of Christians miss the the concept of what Jesus did by dying on that cross. How is it they fail to have an understanding of the gift of GRACE? Why must people have a give to get mentality or they won't support the Church with enough money without being shoved into it? I've been behind the scenes in Ministry, not at this church but at another one and it was always the faithful 20 percent that supported the church while the rest were freeloaders. It is high time people paid membership dues to be a member of their church, I for one don't see what is wrong with this.

Colossians 2:14 having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

Money must not be pouring in as usual because Pastor Jerry is stuck on the message of Eliminating Poverty and Lack with a strong pro-Tithing message. His announcement that (surprise, surprise) tithing is in the New Testament afterall was only partially true.

Tithing is in the New Testament but it is not found anywhere as a commandment once Jesus died on the cross. Pastor Jerry needs a Bible lesson to learn what Jesus nailed to the cross.

I can tolerate many things but not my intelligence being insulted which took place when Pastor Jerry looked right at the congregation and twisted the bible text on tithing. He has been on a series of Elimination Poverty and Lack and ties breaking poverty and lack with the old covenant tithing practice. He made the declaration that tithing was in the New Testament and used Matthew 23:23 "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and dill, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone."
What he did not include was that Jesus was n-o-t speaking to New Testament believers that have been redeemed from the curse of the law but Jesus was addressing Jews under the law before his work on the cross was finished. Pastor Jerry then went on to read in Hebrews when it recounted it the New Testament that Abraham paid a tithe of all but what he failed to say was he paid this tithe of all he one time from his battle with the heathen Kings who had kidnapped his nephew Lot and Abraham won a all out war against these Kings. It was a one time tithe. Pastor Jerry did a great job at twisting scriptures and pushing the old covenant tithe law on Christians redeemed from the curse of the old covenant laws. All of us that know better and know our bibles have to keep being redundant and beating this dead horse until people realize the truth and demand that they stop pushing the tithe law and start teaching us the free grace of God. Jesus made a full payment on the cross and it was complete and final. Jesus favored you by coming down here and freely giving you all things with God who cannot lie but unfortunately Pastors can. Romans 10:2 "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes" It is finished means it is finished and if you were good enough to keep the law all six hundred and thirteen of those Jewish laws of Moses, then we would be good enough to save ourselves and Jesus would not have had to come here and die to pay our penalties for breaking these laws which God never gave us Gentiles to begin with.

This is to ranting reviewers like No Excusing it:

We have people like you to thank for the mini civil war in the body of Christ brewing over tithe paying . Are you happy now that it's really heating up and have you forgotten what the scriptures said "For as much as possible try to live at peace with all men." There is division within the body of Christ spreading like a spiritual influenza. Why can't Christians just shut up and pray instead they give our foes a reason to rejoice.

People ask the question on why Pastors mix law and grace when it pertains to tithing. Would you rather we not have the Old Testament, after all it's in the bible too, which means God thinks it is very relevant. There are hundreds of good examples and principles in the Old Testament portion of the bible. It's obviously for our learning in principle even in the age of (the New Covenant) of Grace.

I listened to this wonderful man of God teach a sermon on Podcast, if I were in the area I WOULD be sitting on the front row this coming Sunday. I'd venture to guess he knows the difference in Old Covenant and New Covenant.

The fault lies with tithe critics who don't seem to have an ounce of good sense that the Old Testament is still very necessary to show principles of how God blessed obedient tithers in the Old Testament because they put God first and obeyed him. Tithing is putting God first and keeping the doors of the Church buildings open. Would you all be satisfied if we were to throw out the Old Testament and not learn from Old Covenant principles?

Call it grace giving or tithe paying, what is the difference if the money still goes to great Ministries like the Rock Church? God called this man and his wife so I pray the naysayers would just shut their bleeping big mouths. God will deal with each one of us and our messes but you tithe critics are not God. You did not call these Pastors so you need to mind your own business and let God mind His. I bet tithe complainers have more than their share of mistakes and screw ups but whose publicly counting all of yours?

For those always quoting scriptures against tithe paying we tithe supporters can quote scriptures with the best of them:
1st Timothy 5:18, For the Scripture says, "Do not muzzle the ox while it is treading out the grain," and "The worker deserves his wages."

1st Corinthians 9:14, In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.

Romans 14:4, Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another?
It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

James 4:12, There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you--who are you to judge your neighbor?

Romans 10: 4 "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes".

Galatians 5:1 "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."

Pastor Jerry D. Dirmann is the Senior Pastor and his wife is co-Pastor. I heard great things about this Church from credible sources so I put aside my reservations and went to hear his series of sermons on Eliminating Poverty and Financial Lack. Needless to say I will not be joining this church since he strayed into the typical Old Covenant (yawn, yawn) with the worn out Malachi 3:10 verse like they all do to support Christian tithing as the way to success and prosperity. Trying to find a Pastor these days that teaches the New Testament voluntary way to give (called grace giving) is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. If you go to this Church's website they list what they believe and under tithes and offerings they give two completely opposing bible verses. Malachi 3:10 and 2nd Corinthians 9:7. This is mixing grace and law. One is voluntary and one is mandatory. These two verses do not mix, it's like trying to make east meet west. How come godly men so well educated in the bible seem to lack understanding of the difference of Old Covenant law and New Covenant Grace? I hate to repeat what others have already said about this but it seems necessary because they insist on the tithe lie and trying to get brownie points of riches for tithing. There is not one command to pay God to obtain his blessings after Jesus died on the Cross, All debts were cleared and settled on the cross. How come only a few Christians seem to understand this? There's not one demand to keep the law for righteousness or justification after Jesus died on the cross.
I just checked this church off my list of prospects and my list of rejects is growing longer everyday. If there is a church that teaches prosperity comes from the Lord Jesus and on teaches New Testament Grace giving, I would sure like to know so I can join. I will not be entangled in bondage but will stand fast in my liberty where Christ has set me free.

It's an amazing place where God is the center and the scriptures are taught as though they actually mean what they say. The people are so nice and if you want to get involved there's always a place in ministry for you no matter where you come from.

Kids church is fantastic. They come into an amazingly fun (and safe) playspace where there is great worship music playing and adult volunteers to love them and greet them. They have worship in their classes and are taught the word of God. Kids are receiving healing and they themselves are taught the word, receive the Lord and anointing and they heal others. It's not just babysitting. I can't say enough good things.

There is a place for everyone and no one is regarded as more important than another. No matter your age or your walk of life or your level of faith, there is a place for you at the Rock. You just can't be too comfy where you are, because your life will change if you are open.
