I havent eaten in a McDonalds for 15 years. My ex-wife has always worked at them. She used to spit in burgers if she didnt like someone, especially cops. She did it in Austin and Kansas City. I cant believe she is a McDonalds store manager at Las Cruces El Paseo now. Goes to show the low standards of McDonalds.

This is a pretty decent small fast-food burger. Keep in mind that it is pretty small, but really not much difference than most of the other fast-food restaurants. At $1 it's actually a pretty good deal, but you might want to think about ordering two or getting a different larger sandwich altogether. (I prefer Hardees thickburgers when it comes to amount of meat for the money.) From a taste standpoint, it is pretty good. Buyer beware on the pricing if you get it as part of a combo meal (see below).

There has been a lot of controversy lately about this burger being sold for $1. BK headquarters want the franchieses to sell it for $1. The franchieses say that they lose money at that price. Just note that some Burger King restaurants are handling this situation by upping the price considerably when ordering it as part of a combo meal. Here's my last experience.....

I went to Burger King the other night and ordered the Double Cheeseburger combo meal. It included the double cheeseburger, small fries, and small drink and cost $3.79 before tax. Interestingly, as I waited for my food, I noticed that double cheeseburger, small fries, and small drink (16 oz.) each cost $1.00 on their BK value menu. I also noticed that the price for all the other combo meals (adds a small fries and small drink) were exactly $2.00 more than the cost of just the sandwich alone. Apparently, if I had purchased the double cheeseburger, small fries, and a small drink instead of the double cheeseburger combo meal, it would have only cost me $3.00 instead of the $3.79 that I paid.

I didn't make a fuss since it was still a fair price (and mighty tasty too) at $3.79 but if I had done it again, I would have ordered each item separately, got the same food, and kept the extra $.79 plus tax in my pocket.

I've had this sandwich, and it is quite good for fast food.

Do not, however, get this confused with the BK original chicken sandwich which is absolutely terrrible! Believe me, it's worth the little extra cost to get the Tendercrisp instead. The Tendercrisp might not be as good for you from a healthy standpoint, but at least you can stand to eat it.

Those who rated this sandwich high have probably had the Tendercrisp. I suspect those who have rated this sandwich low must have it confused with the original chicken sandwich that they probably ordered.

Once again.... BK Tendercrisp chicken = good .... original BK chicken = bad.

I've had this sandwich, and I think it was the worst chicken sandwich I ever had. BK's Tendercrisp chicken sandwich, however, is very good.

I ordered the regular chicken sandwich because it was bigger and cheaper than the Tendercrisp. In this case, I got even less than I paid for. Believe me, it's worth the little extra cost to get the Tendercrisp instead. The Tendercrisp might not be as good for you from a healthy standpoint, but at least you can stand to eat it.

Those who rated this sandwich low know what I'm talking about. I suspect those who have rated this sandwich must have it confused with a Tendercrisp that they ordered. I'm giving 1 star just because it is sustinance for an empty stomach, and it didn't actually make me sick afterwards.

Once again.... BK Tendercrisp chicken = good, regular BK chicken = bad.

I am a manager at mcdonalds and I know what and how we run things. Our food is always fresh, our fries are always hot and our staff is always nice to everyone. its bitchy people like you that make me sick complaining about something every time you come into a store, lying saying you didnt get something when you know damn well you did. Just trying to get something for free. You guys always complain about something and say you hate mcdonalds and you never comming back and there you are the next day complaining about something again. The solution is simple. If you dont like mcdonalds, dont eat there. If you do like mcdonalds then there is a reason for it!!! DUH!!Get your minds right people!

Dear Cici's pizza management and all that are on the Board.

Concerning my visit to store # 764, Lancaster, Pa.
Me, my wife, and 5 year old daughter had traveled an hour to get to your Lancaster, Pa. store, from Phoenixville, Pa. after hearing some radio and TV Cable commercials, and figured I might as well give your chain a try. The servers and cashier were first rate, very polite and smiled to us and thanked us on arriving, and departing as well.

Mind you, I am not a professional food critic, just a normal guy that likes to enjoy a good pizza once in a good while.

Well, upon first seeing your commercials on Food Network, you shown so many pizza choices and italian food, and salads in a bright cheery atmosphere, with new pizza pies freshly made, pipping hot and ready to chow down on, along with your radio spots, boldly trumpeting your pizza buffet to be the best thing since the first coming of Christ himself.
With such images you shown to my family, surely the pizza would knock our socks off?

*****
I hope you all are sitting down for this... ^^ (Takes a moment to think, and a breath.)
*****

I have to give an honest rating, and only have this one store to base it off of, because the nearest store besides # 764 is exactly the same distance from my home but in the other direction.

I rate your establishment, and chain, at a 12 out of 100.
*****

Why in God's green earth would you score so low?
That's easy...

1.) NEVER in my life, have I EVER..... had such pizza that was SO badly made, that I actually gave up eating after 1 plate, consisting of 2 pieces, and 1/2 of one that my daughter refused to eat.
a.) The pizza was dried out, and cold on the warmers.
b.) The taste was horrible, as there was a whitish creame on top of the white pizza with pepperoni slices, one from my plate and one from daughter's plate.
c.) My wife, who likes every kind of food, said plainly the pizza had the taste of cardboard, even one slice that had most toppings on it, compared to a sausage that was available.
d.) The staff, upon making the replacement pizzas, only made a few slices, and not a complete pie, and hurriedly shoveled, or dumped the new pieces onto the old plates, and let everything sit, some pieces were turned over on each other, letting the toppings run off some slices onto others, but upon my saying the taste was horrible, really made no difference in affecting the taste of each slice.
The slices were THAT BAD.

2.) Where was the variety of different pizzas? Looking at your webpage, I counted 19 different styles and choices of pizza, and different toppings. I was looking forward to some of your BBQ chicken, as I like pizza from Genuardi's markets here (at the lunch section).
I only counted... asking wife as well... mebee 7 varieties?

What the F*** ??!?!!! >.<

3.) My wife also remarked that the plates used, for the salad, were too small and needed bowls to use serving the salads, as to really have a good size salad, you need to make 2 or 3 trips back to the bar and grab more, as when you put too much salad on a flat plate, all the veges roll of the salad and onto the table. Very Very poor choices.

4.) The only thing that I was able to consume was 2 small glasses of the sweetened ice tea, partially to rid my thirst, otherwise to get that God awful taste out of my mouth from the pizza.

5.) I seen one ad in your store for the rustic pizza? Any more authentic and you'd name it Tony?
At this rate of how bad the pizza was, it should lose it's visa and be deported back to Italy, or wrapped in a newspaper and sent to a mafia boss, instead of the stinky fish.

6.) However, in your favor, my wife did like your deserts, as paper thin as the brownies were, they gave enough taste to cancel out the bad pizza. One point for you... ^^

My apologies, but me and my family will Not return to your chain when we wish for pizza. If you ask me, go to Pizza Hut to take some notes on having a Good Pizza Buffet. ANY pizza place around my home, has Far better tasting pizza... Shoot, I MAKE better pizza, with tortilla slabs, Ragu spaghetti sauce, and provalone cheese. And I don't even LIKE Cooking.

I will not ask for a refund, ... however do use the money to either buy better ingredients, vetter training, or just get out of the pizza business, and start a Cici's used car dealership chain. Ay least buying a used car and eating your pizza leaves me the same taste in my mouth, before heaving it up in the Lowe's bathroom, after dining at your resturant.

I do visit a few review sites online and do have a blog as well, and this letter is copied to them word for word.
I would like a reply, either the prepackaged one saying thank you for dining at Cici's, or one from a real person.

sincerely,

yesterday

Pros:
Fast service, waitress could not have been more accommodating, food was very nice. Enjoyed the salad there.

Cons:
Contracted food poisoning from eating the chicken soup. Lost a day off work as a result. Not good. Traced it back to Olive Garden. To be objective it could have been caused by the rye bread crackers i ate at home with peanut butter (which i eat every other day) but i doubt it!

I assume that all these people who hate McDonalds have never actually eaten at McDonalds. Why? Because their food is DELICIOUS and people need to stop pretending that it isn't.

There's a reason that America is so fat, and it is NOT because McDonalds is "disgusting".

I used to like to eat liver when I was a little boy. I ate it a year or two ago and I didn't like it as good as when I was a kid. Liver isn't the best tasting food but it is good for people.

Didn't know such a bread existed, but I imagine it containing both cinnamon and raisin - two things which I like it's bound to be really tasty!

It's my favourite item in Starbucks after White Chocolate Mocha))).
Basically, it a nonfat yogurt, low fat granola, strawberries, and blueberries.
Delicious combination and it makes me full for about 2-3 hours.

I loved McDonald's fries growing up. While I always thought the rest of their food basically sucked (with the exception of the McRib. Why that never stays on the menu is beyond me), their fries ruled. However, McDonald's made the decision to try and get a little bit healthier (why people expect fast food chains to be healthy is beyond me), and changed the type of oil the fries are cooked in. While they are still decent, they simply aren't as good as they used to be. Newsflash! Fast food is bad for you! When I go to a fast food restaurant it isn't for my health which means the more grease the better.
