absolutely normal with a bit of amazing plot. Actings were great but others were not. Cliché dialogged but i was still enlightened by the facts some people survived. Though i am annoyed by how everything got destroyed, again and again.....that's all

an awesome actor with a creative and educated mind. Though as young as he is now, there are still things he must learn like the others----for me the "thing" that made him uprise was 2012 since he showed a great performance, but his voice was shaky*wonder why*----now i like to see him act more on every chaotic movies and shows----it fits him well _my opinion.

I was laughing hysterically - Film was really well done and HOW GOOD were the opening credits?

I LOVED Yaya ( Or as Brendan says Yoyo haha.) But I think the character i most enjoyed WAS Brendan due to his spontenaity and completely scattered mind haha, and I think Kain O 'Keeffe pulls that character off really well ( expect to see big things from him in the future)

I liked Helen's love interest the least. He was a total sleazy loser! And while he starts off as being ok we end up hating him cos he's so mean to poor Helen - the naive 21 year old virgin. Ha ha

I really loved Naz and the creepy Pakistani dude her family set her up with!! I wanted to see more of them but on the whole - ...GREAT movie!!!

Gay film maker Paul Bright scores again in this tale of suspense-drama in a fast-paced story of drug trafficing along the Mexican border. Matthew Charles Burnett from Bright's THEFT, plays a tour guide who innocently becomes embroiled in an undercover drug sting headed by newcomer, Rafiel Sotto. What ensues is a plot full of twists and turns in the manner of a RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. Interspersed is the romance between the two men with more graphic displays of intimacy than previously explored in Bright's ANGORA RANCH. New digital photography, combined with on location vistas, provide dramatic emphasis and Peggy Mae Binn, Cynthia Scheibel, and other "Bright regulars" contribute their share of elements of comedy. Exceptional.

Review Icon Lena reviewed New Moon in Thrillers:
Alright....since nonsense articles about this film are plaguing my gReader automatically generated feeds on a daily basis, I'll not only fess up to watching it (My extra-awesome friend Ryen invited me...hanging out with him is fun no matter what), but I'll even review it just to get this off my chest.

Before that, however...my review:
This film is dull and the special effects are laughable. The acting seems rushed...by that I don't mean there's EVER much of anything going on, but rather that there's zero emotion to any of the characters' interactions with each other, even when they're supposedly kissing so passionately that bella might get pregnant if they don't stop (You think I'm joking, but remember, this is mormon-vampire-sex-ed). Many girls around me squealed in delight at the first appearances of the each main male character, but even their enthusiasm faded into oblivion by the end of the movie. It just wasn't engaging.

The fight choreography is idiotic, particularly with the wolves, who, thanks to the aforementioned bad sfx, look silly and mangy...they could easily have done a better job with motion-capture on REAL animals, but instead make wolves fight like people in The Matrix meets The Ring (they flicker and there's some half-assed slow-mo...no better way to describe this). There was a way to do this film well (bad acting aside) and a way to do it on the cheap. I'm pretty sure the studio took the latter route and funneled the rest into marketing and deep pockets.

Now that that's out of the way, commence rant:
Some background: By "articles" I actually mean a rather rampant epidemic of reblogged posts (originating from this livejournal post from what I can tell) where the actions of the main character, Bella, are equated to an ongoing pursuit of an abusive relationship. Alternately, feminist moms write about how they yearn to understand their respective daughters' love for the books, but can't help but view their long term effect as dangerous, damaging and misogynistic.

As a 26 year old girl (no kids) who devoured books as a child (I read everything from Sweet Valley High to Stephen King when I was as young as 9), I think it's time for a little reality check.

Parents: give your daughters a little credit. Girls are not hopelessly impressionable idiots...I promise.

Not having read a word of any of these books, I can assure you that they're taken as fantasy, along with the films...a diversion from reality, not an education on how to live life. Lets be honest...no one is interested in imagining a fantasy that closely resembles real life, or worse, is choked with overt morality and condescension.

As a teenager, an overarching commonality among many memories I have was the feeling that the decisions I made (however trivial in hindsight) were crucially significant, their consequences life-altering. My crushes were all-consuming and obsessive. Most importantly, I didn't feel like adults took me even remotely seriously, and I recall bitterness and ultimate rebellion when my mom tried to prevent me from exposing myself to films she felt were (you guessed it) dangerous and damaging.

They were obviously no such thing. Books promote imagination, creativity, independence, empathy & literacy. Films provide a brief escape into the imagination of another, even lacking any other redeeming quality (as with this particular film).

In talking to my friends now, I don't think it's a stretch to say that this is pretty much a shared experience for most of us while growing up, even if the details differ. The 13-year old me completely understands why girls want to read a dark story about escaping reality and impending responsibility, even if my 26-year old self has complete disdain for the same book series (especially considering the countless books of phenomenal quality and prose that don't sell nearly as well). The contemporary me also holds out hope that kids who read grow up to become adults who think (and also still read :D).

end. rant. sorry.

An interesting exercise in how to make a brilliant man's fascinating life seem hopelessly dull. The writer was deservedly snubbed by the Writer's Guild for conveniently editing out Nash's homosexuality from his own life story and turning it into a romantic drama with a side of schizophrenia.

Ron Howard's concept of reality has always been more hollywood-ever-after, and A Beautiful Mind is no exception.

Cash Flagg was the nom de film of legendary bad film auteur Ray Dennis Steckler, who gave the world such classics as "The Lemon Grove Kids Meet the Green Grasshopper" and "The Incredibly Strange Creatures who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies."

Steckler adopted the name as his acting credit, apparently because he was embarrassed that all of his films already had him in the titles as producer, director, writer and cinematographer. His range as an actor ran the gamut from A to B, which made it a least the equal of his talents as a director.

I have trouble going over three stars for any movie directed by Ron Howard. He's more than competent, but the problem I have with his films is that there never seems to be any soul to them. I'm always left with the feeling of looking a pretty picture of a trivial thing.

James Stewart was a great actor. He starred in It's a wonderful life, MR. Smith goes to Washington, Harvey, Firecreek, North and South Book II, etc. My two favorite movies of his are 'It's a wonderful life' and 'Firecreek'.

James Stewart wasn't only an actor. He was also in the military. He became the Brigadier General of the United States Air Force Reserve.

In his later years, MR. Stewart did soup commercials. Sadly, we lost Stewart in July of 1997. I gladly give him a 5 star raing.

It would have been more interesting if the movie was called Beautiful Wife and they dropped the Russell Crow character all together.

Morgan Freeman, need I say more? He's done more for the African-American race than anyone I can think of. Who could possibly dislike this man? Maybe he'll run for President of the United States of America

Couldn't get into this movie; didn't even finish watching it. Ladies who are Bradidots and macho men made this popular.

Can't beat this movie for proving the American dream can come true. Had everyone in the theatre cheering for the underdog. Feel good movie and great soundtrack (inspiring to this day).

Big Hoffman fan! Proves he can excel at any role thrown his way. Any number of actors could have played Cruise's part equally as good.
