Seems like the reviews for fox rent a car a little bit mixed here. I have to say, that I had a good experience with them. Saved me about $ 400 renting from fox in LA. Ok, the building is a bit shabby, but I am renting the car, not the building, right. Other than that, I cant complain about anything. Staff was friendly, airport pick up was within 20 minutes and I only had about 4 people in front of me, so I got my car within about 45 minutes after getting on the shuttle. I will rent from fox again, thats for sure!

Brookfield Township has no zoning and no local income tax, is open for heavy industry, and is therefore rated excellent. Strongly pro-business, few local regulations. Open for business. Very good freeway & rail access. Close proximity to I-80 & I-376. Trucking industry welcomed.

TERRIBLE AIRLINE - STAY AWAY.
I flew from Mesa, Arizona to Eugene, Oregon with my family. When I made the reservations, I told the customer service representative that I had a child, under 2 years old. He told me it was OK ... He would fly for free, on my lap. When I got to the airport, they charged me $271 for my child, who is under the age of 2, Lap child according to FAA regulations.
The counter person told me I had to submit a REFUND by mail.
It's been 2 months and I have not heard anything back from them. Disputed the charge with the bank, and they are working on it.

THIS AIRLINE IS THE WORST EVER!
How can they be allowed to be in business. Contacting BBB of Las Vegas to give them a piece of my mind.

DONT TRAVEL WITH ALLEGIANT AIRLINES.

I am a frequent flyer--my first with allegiant.
I haven't even take my flight yet, but I have a major complaint
with the servce. I have been trying to inquire about the fees for
checked baggage--the info from #65 on their list of requirements
reads like a government tax form.
I've called Allegiant for a real live interpretation and all I get is a
voicemail that says they will call you back. But after several calls and
no callbacks, I've given up.

My daughter highly recommended this airline to us, so I'm hoping the
rest of our experience with them will help match my daughters enthusiasm.

In future I would rather use a more conventional airline, pay a little more
and get treated like I'm an actual customer.

I have dealt with more then a few rental companies but none have been as big a joke as this place. We decided to use them when going to Ft. Lauderdale a few weeks ago as they were considerably cheaper then all the competition. That apparently should have been the red flag. When we finally arrived at the rental car location after waiting forever for a shuttle and then taking a cab we we're greeted by a line. We we're told by others wating there that despite it being a Saturday they only had one person checking working on checking out the cars. We then waited for an hour, outside in the heat because they have no lobby to speak of, before we were seen. The salesman then did his usual spiel trying to sell everything he could. When we did finally get a car no one walked us out or explained any of the features of the car. Glad it wasn't complicated. When I called their customer service line I was told this was their standard operating procedure and there was nothing they would do about it.

When we retuned our car it was a little less painfull. However, when I asked a question about the Sunpass I could not get a straight answer. I accidentally drove through a Sunpass lane and just wanted to know what the charge would be. I was told they would charge me either $2.50 for a one day pass (reasonable) or a $2.50 pass for 10 days. Considering I only rented the car for 7 days to begin with that would be ridiculous. I am still waiting to see what the actual charge will be. In the end I am not sure it was worth the $100 we saved. They were a major hassle and completely unprofessional!

Thailand is one of my favorite destinations in the world. I have been here several times. Bangkok is not on my "favorites" list....(except for shopping), but if you are here make sure you visit the Grand Palace. It' just breathtaking. The architecture is amazing. I don't think I have ever seen something quite like this. Just make sure that you don't get scammed on your way over here by taxi-drivers, tour agencies etc....although it's hard to avoid the first time you're here :)

Great people but quality of product is very bad. I ordered a luxury car and got what I ordered, but inside was filthy, tires barely legal tread, shocks were shot, shuttle van old filthy and one burnt out head light. I went through Fox because of the good price and if that is the only decission then I guess they are worth it, but I would never ride in their cars again, just not safe.

I have been a resident of Youngstown, Ohio for 25 years and I think that it has it's ups and down. I will start with the pros first. Considering Youngstown has a relatively small population you dont have to worry about rush hour traffic. The cost of living here is very inexpensive and believe it or not there are actually nice neighborhoods. The cons include the amount of crime that happens here, but hey there is crime everywhere and you will never get away from it. So the individuals who go on tv and say"i cant believe this happened in my neighborhood" are full of crap. Crime is everywhere. The police department usually takes a while to get to the scene. The potholes are ridiculous, especially market street. But it just goes to show that Youngstown is in need of money because im quite sure these same politicians that you were referring to would do something about it if they could so that their own vehicles wouldnt be torn to pieces. Yes there are a lot of abandoned homes, but that is because triflin people usually tear them up so badly that there isnt a point of repairing them. I dont blame the landlords, I wouldnt put time and money into something that just wasnt worth it. With that being said the community has to make a change. You cant just blame city officials. And it sounds to me that some of you are racist because you know that the police chief and the mayor are african american!!!

The other opinions are probably by people who are transplants from another part of the country. In all honesty, Cambridge is in no way a great city. It is terribly dirty, full of people who think they're better than everyone else, and is a haven for people who would rather prefer the "small town feel". Ask any student in Cambridge and they'll say they haven't really ventured into Boston because it's "too big for them". Open your minds, hop on the Red/Orange line, and go somewhere you haven't been. In short, Cambridge just sucks, it's poor, run-down, terrible, and is nothing like Boston. There is no history. The beautiful brownstones that litter Boston are rare in Cambridge. The city is full of people who think they're god's gift to Earth. I lived in Boston earlier, moved to Cambridge, and now regret it, and definitely am moving back. If you like people that are normal, move to Boston's South End or Fenway. Back Bay tends to be full of young professionals and upper-class elites, but everywhere else is amazing and clean to live in. Cambridge on the other hand, is full of "biker emo's" who don't follow rules of the road (I bike myself, and often find myself yelling profanities at them), elitist people who think rules don't apply to them, closed minded townies from suburbs, and people who just suck in general. Do this: go to John Harvard's Brew House and Boston Beer Works, and see what you like better. If you like the former better, then sorry, I just hope I don't see you on the streets. Cambridge has a lot of good business establishments, too bad the people don't reflect that (other than tourists, I just love tourists).

Edit: I don't mind people who have "townie" views...it's just not for me. This is just my opinion.

JetBlue is the best airline I've ever used! I fly out of JFK regularly, which is their hub. From the ease of the online purchase experience, to the moment I step off of the Airtrain and walk into the terminal, they've set up their airline so that your complete flying experience is as easy as possible. Before I even got to the main terminal, there were a set of kiosks with no lines, where you can check in. When I got to the main terminal, there were more kiosks and several areas if you prefer to check in with a person. (You can also print out your boarding pass online while you're at home, and skip this part all together.) When you get past security, it's almost like a high-end mall with great restaurants, etc. There's a "food court" area with burgers, sandwiches and more to choose from. (I use quotes because it's nicer than your typical food court.) There's a nice sushi bar. They have a big open space with tables and chairs - you can connect to you computer using wi-fi. Even the little details, like having automatic anti-bacterial foam dispensers strategically placed, are really nice (e.g., before you enter the food court they have a few). And, they have people standing around who can answer your questions. There's even a desk area set up where I found 3 people who were not swamped dealing with other things, who were sitting behind a sign that said "How can I help?" (After a horrible experience with American Airlines having to hunt someone down, then to only have him take me to some random gate where I had to stand in line, all to find out where my connecting gate was because THEY neglected to post this information on their screens, I am an even bigger fan of JetBlue.) I've flown them 5 times this year, and they haven't been late once (even getting to our destination early a couple of times). But even if I do get delayed while waiting for a JetBlue flight in the future, that's expected and I would still give them top ratings. As far as the flight goes, they have comfortable seats, the crew is always nice, funny and light. AND the best part is they have TV sets in each headrest, with several channels, that can be individually controlled. I could go on... I never do this, really, and I'm not an employee... I just told an employee I loved their airline, and he said "write a review" so I did!

This place is such a scam. After waiting half an hour for the shuttle, we arrive at the rental place and wait in an hour line (though there were only 7 people in front of us). We get to the front and encounter the following problems:

1) We were told that we would be getting a Yaris (the man said it like it was a bad car) and said for $30 we could upgrade to a camry. I said that wasn't necessary, we were quite excited to get a Yaris since that is what I normally drive. The man said - you like Yaris's? When we said oh yes, I have it, and its a great car, the guy started typing and said, "Oh, well, we don't have them a lot to offer. Oooh, it seems like we don't have it after all. We'll have to give you a Mitsubishi unless you upgrade." (we didn't upgrade, though I will say if you want to upgrade from a 2 door to 4 door, rave about the 2 door because in his desire to take the car that we wanted from us, he gave us a 4 door)

2) We explain that we don't want the insurance option as our insurance company covers rental cars. The man said that they don't accept outside insurance, and that unless we paid an additional $100 for insurance for the week, that he'd take out a $350 deposit against the credit card. He made it clear that if there was *anything* wrong with the car, including dents, that our credit card would be charged for damage plus money lost as the car is in the shop and that they would have the authority to charge up to $2000 if $350 doesn't cover it. Considering how shabby they were, it was obvious they were going to charge extra if we didn't get the insurance, so we agreed to pay (well 2 out of 3 of us said lets go, but the 3rd just wanted to get this over with)

3) Upon walking out the door, what was there but the exact Yaris the man had just described. I was so mad. I marched back in, ignored the line, and confronted the teller asking why we didn't get that Yaris. He said, "Oooh, we have DEMONSTRATION cars." Right. They bought cars purely to sit on the lot for demonstration purposes only. He actively took the car he was giving us away because it would make us satisified customers and he wanted us to upgrade.

4) I have a feeling that most positive reviews on here are from the company posing as customers, as the company has shown to be deceitful

LIARS AND SCAMMERS! AVOID THIS COMPANY!

(as to the 75 cent toll the woman was complaining about in an earlier review, her daughter probably did run it by mistake. Its really easy to miss. You have to turn off the road, pay the toll, then get back on. We weren't sure if we had to pay since we had just paid a $1 toll a mile earlier, but ends up there are 2 tolls within a mile on that road)

I rented from Fox Rent A Car several times now, in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas, and I have to say they were great! I usually do not post comments, but I have to say, they really surprised me. They not only had the best deal, but their service was great too. I understand that sometimes things go wrong, that is probably why there are some negative reviews here. But from my personal experience, renting a car from Fox was the best choice. I saved a lot, people at all the locations I've been to were nice and friendly and nothing else to complain about. Ok, I waited about 20 min at the airport for the shuttle in LA, but hey, I saved about 20% compared to other car rental companies. Check them out and give it a shot!

Just got back from Las Vegas and had a blast!! After I booked our vacation, I read all of these terrible reviews about Allegiant Air and was upset with myself for not looking at these before hand. I'm glad I didn't!! The service was great, the planes were clean, and best of all it was non-stop. Not having to worry about switching planes and lost luggage was really nice. We booked a package deal for flight and hotel and everything worked without a hitch. My wife and I are ready to go back and we will book the flight with allegiant again!!

I haven't even flown with them yet, and I'm already ticked off. They charged way more than they advertised, with all their hidden security fees and whatnot. Then, to top that off, they hit me with the bill twice on my debit card, which took out more than I had in the account. Shouldn't be to hard to just call 'em up and have it all straightened out right? You like to think so! Going on their website to the contact page, you can call baggage service or lost and found. If you have a problem that needs to be addressed, you need to send it in writing to their office in Nevada. I need help NOW before i start getting penalized for going under on my card. I already am not satisfied, and will never fly with them again. I would recommend that you avoid Allegiant Air Lines. What a joke.

We are a Disney fanatic family. We live in the Orlando area so it's only a 40 min drive for us to get to the parks. We are going this weekend as a matter of fact!! Woohoo! We get our season tickets each yr. and we make the most of the money spent. Yes it is expensive but if you know what you are doing and the ways to play the game...you can definitely cut part of the cost out. For example...buy one bottle of water and just refill it from the water fountains. Yes that may sound cheap to some of you but if you are one to complain about the cost, then figure out ways to get back some of that expense. There are things you can do with the food...burgers for example have two patties in most of the food places now (for whatever reason) so purchase a burger and fries meal and then get an extra bun...use the second patty for that bun and go put the condiments on it. This is good for kids. Or cut one burger in half and split it between two children. If you need extra fries get an order of fries separately.
If you are a Florida Resident and have seasonal tickets...then you know that the seasonal tickets do not include parking...which is ridiculous because FL residents should get the best of everything...WE LIVE HERE!...anyway...do what we did... we got 3 seasonal tickets for our family. We knew we would go a LOT with these tickets (which we do) so for, $120 which I believe was the cost, we upgraded one of our tickets to an annual which DOES include parking. Now we save that money each time we go because we upgraded ONE ticket. At the time of this past upgrade parking was $12 per visit. If we went 10 times this yr and we did, that 120$ was paid for. Now if I am not mistaken parking is either at or going to $15. We plan to get our tickets again for 2010 before these expire and again it will be paid for.
So all it takes is a little thinking outside the box. You can save money, you just gotta figure out how.
Disney is a big money hungry place, sadly. Mr. Disney rolls over in his grave everyday I'm afraid. But aside from all the lines and the really hot weather (which we don't go in the summer time because of the heat) we LOVE Disney and always will. Personally for me, I may be above the 100 visits count. Born and raised here. Hope I never have to leave.

Youngstown sucks! Don't ever move your business there. It shows a total lack of regard for your workers to do so. You'll end up with a union and lazy workers that will be hard to get rid of. The free land and tax abatements aren't worth the hell you will go through. The beat-up roads will blow the ball joints out of your vehicles. You'll need a fence with razor wire and 24/7 security guards to keep from getting robbed. Don't ever believe Mayor Jay, he is full of bullshit. The town is dying and never will come back. It is only "good" for people on social security and welfare. The town is full of housing projects and section 8 rental units. There is robberies and shootings every day. Your place will be stripped of copper before you even get it built, and every existing place has already been stripped. Insurance rates are very high in Youngstown.
