Despite the traffic and the urban feel, Copacabana is still a stunning beach that deserves its reputation. With more bikinis than waves, the beach is a great place to spend the afternoon. If you’re there on a weekend, bring your bike or your rollerblades to skate and ride along the avenues that are traffic free. If the main beach is too crowded, you can hop to the adjacent cove called Leme that is more secluded and quiet.
