03/11/2003 | Hong Kong is just plain fantastic in general. Victoria Peak is just icing on the cake. There are numerous stores and my money stretched so well there. I love the trading and batering booths that were all along the downtown streets. The people are friendly, and the food is great. The most excellent port visit in my Navy career!

we had dinner up there and really loved the whole experience.
the peak store has got a lot of great logo items to take back to friends.
we ate at cafe deco, there are two floors make sure you sit up stairs. dinner for two w/ soft drinks was $80.US. and very good. the blackend sea bass was fantasic. dinner for two on New Years up stairs next to a window was $250.US w/ drinks (lots) and party favors and dancing.
ONE THING DONT GET CAUGHT UP TOP AFTER 9 OR 10 PM AND WANT TO TAKE THE TRAM BACK DOWN THE LINE WAS VERY VERY LONG 1 1/2 HR+ WAIT. TAKE A CAB BACK TO THE BOTTOM. $10.US;]

03/09/2001 | Great place to start your tour of Hong Kong - you can see the layout of most of the island and Kowloon. try to avoid all of the overpriced little souvenir shops though.

02/09/2001 | For a killer view of Hong Kong, the harbor, the buildings, the sheer spectacle, Victoria Peak is unbeatable. Take the funicular up, and then take a cab down. Each trip offers its own particular thrills.
