Zig-Zag Zell, the Redneck Governor who spoke out of both sides of his mouth, thereby committing a gross act of disloyalty to the political party that made his career. What a skunk. A dishonest and disingenuous bucket of pig vomit who made a total fool of himself at that dreadful GOP convention several years back. Since he was washed up in Democratic politics, he chose to burn his bridges behind him, the coward. In this, he was a precursor to that other turncoat, Joe "Oy!!! I'm A Constipated, Double-dealing Jew" Lieberman. And actually, he caused no divisiveness by his ill-advised defection from his party, because people saw him for what he actually was, an opportunistic ingrate, a delusional old clown.

Burned all his bridges, and now even the Republicans don't want anything to do with him. Kind of a tragic end to a long career.

Zell Miller isn't polarizing to me, at least, because as an independent who leans somewhat left, I have had the luxury of watching this bizarre political creature from the sidelines for years. His most recent behavior does not surprise me. He has always been spiteful, no matter who he is aiming at, and mainly good for shock value. I think that the people who feel polarized are maybe people who didn't know how he was before his speech at the GOP convention. I just take him at face value and chuckle.

zell deserves a 6. in 1992 he polarized the republicans, in 2004 he polarized the democrats. gotta respect a guy who opens up a can of whoop ass on his own party.
