I thought they were going to close the Beacon St (original) bar. Another tourist trap. Stop at any Building 19, buy a "Cheers" tee for two bucks and tell your friends it was great. You're welcome...

Not worth the effort. If you want a cool bar/pub in Boston, go to the Green Dragon or the Bell in Hand.

The food and spirits are not bad, but nothing special. If you are headed there to see the bar from the sitcom, then turn around. It looksnothing like the bar in the show, because it isn't. The writer was just inspired by this place to create cheers. Going to bull and finch is like flying to london to go to a 7 11 in that you can probably do the same thing in your hometown.

I was there in 1990. Got some souveneirs. Not worth the time. Hey, if you want to see a Cheers bar, just go to one at just about any airport, ...where nobody knows your name.

The gift shop and restaurant were very small. The food prices weren't bad at all and the food was pretty tasty. The gift shop items were a bit over priced, but then again it is Boston! All in all, it was worth going to.

Not bad, been in one bar been in all. Very small inside, when we went there had no trouble at all with crowds. Sat at the bar, got drunk. Woody was'nt there,no screaming vikings either. If your in the nieghborhood stop in, you can allways say you been to Cheers.

The bar is much smaller than the one viewed on television. But there is an indian statue standing by the doorway. The food was tasty and the atmosphere lively. Located near Boston Common.

This place is great as a bar and hangout if you don't mind waiting in lines or crowds, but you'll be disappointed if you think it will look like the bar from Cheers. Only the outside has any resemblence of the TV show. The inside just looks like a normal bar. The prices in the gift shop are outrageous too, but surprisingly the food is not that expensive. It's definitely a tourist trap.

You might have to wait a while, but it is worth a visit if you liked the TV show.

Why waste your time and money? Upstairs is definitely more interesting architecturally if you are given the opportunity.
