I went to see the ship a few years back, and was pleasantly surprised by the ship and the museum there. This section of Charlestown has really come a long way. If you're down there, stop over to Olive's for lunch.

BORING.

The ship itself is impressive, though after 9/11 you have to go through arduous security checkpoints (don't wear a belt if you go) and there's long, slow lines. The museum building is so-so. If you're into ships and military history, you'll like it a lot. If not, you'll probably spend 15 minutes whipping through the museum and won't feel like you missed very much.

America's most famous fighting ship of sail. Her exploits are legendary. Knowledgeable active duty Naval personnel provide guided tours of the ship.
