08/03/2004 | Most of the people are sketchy so I recommend going with close friends. Take in the scenery, nostalgia, beach, rides, boardwalk, original Nathan's ;), weekend fireworks and of course THE CYCLONE! (front or back car... accept no other spot!) Coney Island is really the only thing Brooklyn has going for it.

03/13/2004 | Haven't been to Coney Island in many years. It has to be the archetypal amusement park in the US. Noisy, crowded, full of New Yorkers with da New Yawk attitude.... Used to be a really fun place to visit. Judging from other reviews, I'm not too sure what to think about it now.

12/28/2003 | Coney island is a New York institution that is in disrepair and is in desperate need of a revamp and facelift. Its the first landmark you see coming into the harbor and should look worthy of such an honor. Oh, and Ride the Cyclone.

02/11/2003 | I love Coney Island, I go there all the time in the summer. The rides, fireworks on Friday nights, beach, all the different people -I love it. Tourists- I do suggest ya be a lil careful, after all I didn't give it a "five star";)

11/04/2001 | There have been several great basketball players to come out of Coney Island, NY. It is also the setting of the 1998 Spike Lee movie He Got Game.

11/05/1999 | Coney Island is the southmost point in Brooklyn. Although not an attractive sight, there is plenty of fun stuff to do. Coney Island is home of the Wonder Wheel and Cyclone, all located seconds away from each.
