I don't think there is anything cheap about taking care of a pet considering the cost of food, vet care, grooming, and etc., but if you love them just like a member of the family it really doesn't matter.

From my own personal experience... pets aren't cheap at all.

Cheap? I just had my cat at the vet and it cost me $500. My ex-girlfriend had her cat at the same vet recently and it cost her $2,000. Cheap?

Cheaper than kids, but pets are expensive to care for properly.
