The Mill does have pretty good pizza, but I wouldn't classify them as an Italian restaurant. I would classify it as a bar that serves food. They have live music on a fairly regular basis. It tends to have better live music than many venues in Iowa City, but it's still rather hit or miss. My biggest problem with the Mill is with the usual clientele. They tend to be a mix of wannabe hippies and pseudo-academics (the ultra-liberal ones who tend to wear the big black plastic framed glasses, and who think they are vastly superior to anyone who lives more than a couple of miles from downtown). The Mill can be enjoyable for a while, but the people there will eventually get on my nerves.
