If you enjoy paying inflated cover charges, fighting your way through ridiculous crowds, and perpetually being let down by bait-and-switch advertising tactics, this bar is for you! The Union Bar has been highly overrated as a "premier party spot" in Iowa City but really folks, it's just your run-of-the-mill college bar that's hungry for mommy & daddy's money.
