Nope. This is still Wyoming.

Appointed Sen. John Barrasso (R) looks like a strong candidate in the special election to fill out the incomplete term of the late Sen. Craig Thomas (R). Wyoming is definitely one of the most Republican states in the US, but it has a popular Democratic governor and on occasion they do see a competitive race. However Barrasso will likely hold on to his seat.

John Barrasso (R) was appointed to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Sen. Craig Thomas (R) until the next election. This seat could be very competitive if former Gov. Mike Sullivan (D) seeks the seat.
