This well-oiled machine does not belong on the same list with whores, reality tv stars, and child molesters. If you think his win is a fluke, you should check Kenbot out on GSN's Grand Slam .

He is extremely intelligent! Won lots of money ~ but even that can't buy him a personality. The few times I saw him, he was very robotic.

He was a likable enough person and not too obnoxious. I don't think he attracted much of an enemy lobby. He seemed to be rather humble, in fact.

Super smart man that didn't always bet the right amount ( and no I didn't win 74 straight Jeopardy games ).

Being extremely intelligent as Ken Jennings renders him more than deserving of his fame. But being absolute fools like Jennifer Wilbanks (the infamous 'Runaway Bride') and Courtney Love proves that stupid is forever- and that sooner or later, the proverbial gong ought to be rung so as to pull these idiots off stage and send them packing to their deserved obscurity.

Very deserving! After they lifted the five win limit he was the first to go the distance. There may have been others before him that could have but he still made things enertaining for awhile.

A 4.5. it is good to see that a nice person is at the top of the list for 15 minutes of fame. A very smart man who lasted a long time on Jeopardy. It seems that most of the people who have been famous for a short time is because of something negative. He seems like a nice man who will continue to be successful in whatever he does.

Ken is a great guy. He doesn't try to cheat and his image is pretty much clean cut.

Ken Jennings is a god. He is not only a genius, he is adorable, modest, funny, the sex. etc etc. He is just such a great person. He's so..pure. Thats the word that really sums him up : pure. He is not a malicious person, he's not jealous, he really just tries to to help people, and he knows the importance of learning and living a good life without alcohol/drugs. His '15 minutes of fame' are not over, even if everyone else in the world forgets about him, i will never.

I heard somewhere that he was going to host either a talk show or a game show. Frankly, I don't think he has the personality to host anything. That show will probably tank, and he will begin his fading into memory soon.

He was a really nice guy, but it just got annoying seeing him every day, again and again. But there is also not a doubt in my mind that the episode that he finally lost in was staged. The information on it leaked about 4 months before it actually aired, and they do not tape that far in advancance. It's also apparent now that while he was no doubt very intelligent, he wasn't the smartest ever on the show. He just had the advantage of not having to stop after 5 days. He didn't win the ultimate tournament of champions. And now the other guy from Pennsylvania is the top Jeopardy winner.

Trivia geeks will never get the hero worship of top athletes or Hollywood stars. KenJen had an knack for speaking modestly and charmingly that actually made his geek streak on Jeopardy liked by most of the general public. Hes more of an exception to the rule, though, since many cant stand others who show themselves to be big know-it-alls. I don't really consider him a hero of my own, but I'll give him a five because brainiacs don't get their due respect when compared to other accomplished folks. Just look at the rest of the list of 15-minute celebs to see why he is more deserving of his run of fame more than the typical person with unconventional, short-lived fame.

Scam! Thats right, SCAM! This was rigged by the show to boost sagging ratings and keep them from getting CANCELLED!

Very impressive. I bet Jeopardy will implament a 3 day winning streak rule ,like Wheel of Fortune has, after this.

Ken Jennings is the man! He'll return and win Tournament of Champions. He might have lost that game on purpose.

He seems like he is very smart. And each time he wins he probably spends his nights reading more and more stuff. I highly doubt it was a set up because Jeopardy did not need a boost of ratings and definitely did not need to spend all that money getting it. Often the daily winnings are 10,000 or thereabouts...this guy was reeling in 30,000 oftentimes. Unless he is blackmailing Alex Trebek I doubt anything foul is afoot. Lots of people I know watch Jeopardy regularly and I actually opted to NOT watch it as regularly because I was tired of seeing him on there smiling and winning and almost but never getting the answers wrong while the other half of my family were hooked and amazed at his intelligence. So i dont think it was a ratings plot. He should now go and work for NASA or the government and give them all a clue.

IJR, about giving the 10% away, is that what Ken said himself? Or just something that you're assuming? I applaud Ken's intelligence, but I can't help but find it a little convenient that the producers would lift the 5-day win maximum right before Ken appeared.

Seems like a nice enough guy and authentically smart.I doubt seriously that this is in any way fraudulent...it would be too obvious and Jeopardy doesn't need to violate a number of laws to get ratings.I have heard from several sources that his luck will run out in the near future as shows are taped well in advance and he apparently reaches the upper 2 million mark but regardless it can't go on forever.

Loved him for a while, but got sick or seeing him on for so long, and felt sorry for the ones he wiped out. They should invite all those people back for another shot.

Intelligent man, but I think it is a weird coincidence that Ken keeps on winning and the ratings for Jeopardy keep going up, and thus Ken wins more, and the ratings go up more...maybe he just really sincerely is winning and it's completely unbiased towards him and not rigged in any way at all...but it seems kind of fishy to me.

Ken Jennings is awesome. His display of intellectual ability will never be matched. As Mr. T might say, I will pity the foos in the Tournament of Champions that will have to face the mighty, biblical wrath of Ken Jennings!
