Bandit's Firebird Trans Am (from the first 'Smokey and the Bandit') was a sleek, stylish, high-revving machine- with power to boot. A car which may have defined the last of the muscle car era, the 1977 Firebird Trans Am was every male teenagers' dream car. And with Burt Reynolds at the helm of such a car, it gained widespread popularity.
