Steve McQueen, if anything, proved that he was both a talented stunt man and cool leading actor in 'Bullitt'. But the real star of the movie was this Mustang with its powerful 390 cubic inch monster of an engine. It made the Mustang even more popular than it was, and nearly 35 years later the Bullitt Mustang would be reproduced by a Ford company longing for the glory days.
