Ivan I think was the one that just refused to die, that hit FL about three times, sat on top of the Cayman Islands for 3 days as a Category 5 storm, and blew Grenada off the map. It hit both Alabama and Florida as a strong storm, went up the Atlantic coast, then went back down to hit FL a second time before dying out. Someone obviously wasn't too happy with us!

Ivan hit on september 12th and we still dont have power restored across our small island as yet (now october 18th) even with the help of forces from canada britain etc. When ivan hit us it slowed down to 5mph and had gusts of around 240 mph.. that was beatng us for almost 2 days because of it's wide diameter. this is the first hurricane i seen that had tornadoes and tidal waves all in one. I hope noone has to experience a category 6 hurricane like Ivan again.
