this is the worst bank ever. Each month I paid the full balance on my credit card bill, yet they say i always only paid the minimum payment. Now I'm paying for all the interest my imaginary minimum payments accrued. That plus other nasty stuff, like my rate being increased 3 dollars---1/2 an hour after i had just talked to them!!!!!!! And weird stuff---like checks bouncing when they in fact they were paid.

Bad experience, very slimy, deceptive business practices

I would recommend anyone that is thinking of using Fleet bank not too!!!! They have the most rude and unfriendly tellers and managers that I have ever dealt with. I have moved my money to another bank.

This is the worse credit card company. I had this credit at 9.99% fixed. Been a customer for a year and half. It was initially to pay off debt, so I never activated the card. Never made expenditures on it. In May, I got legitimately unemployed by the company. They gave me a good severance package, enough to last six months. I called the credit card service to ask for a lower interest rate to help me out. They could get back their principal, just in case I can't find a job at the end of my six months. I never skipped a payment for a whole year and half. I was with a customer service agent for a full 30 seconds, and without asking whether or not I was able to pay, I was sent over to the collections dept. They asked me if I would like to post a payment. It was 15 days ***before*** the payment due date!!! Wait until I am officially a deadbeat before you report me. Just because people are unemployed does not mean that they cannot pay. That would be discriminatory. Some can. All I wanted was a reduction in interest rate. That was last month. Today, I got a statement in the mail. They not only did not give me a reduction but ***raised*** it to 17.99%. I still have a good credit rating and enough collateral at my local bank. They gave me a credit card with 0% for six months and after that 7.9% fixed as well as overdraft protection. So I said good bye to Fleet.

If you enjoy being lied to, having your rate changed without good reason other than the fact that they can, lousy customer service, and no answers what so ever, then you'll like this bank.

I had to deal with Fleet for 10 years because that’s the bank my employer used. They had long lines, nasty tellers, rude managers and bad loan officers. They are the worst bank you could ever imagine. I never want to deal with them again.

This is the worst bank I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They played bait and switch with a mortgage refinance package and then refused to refund my 500 dollar deposit when I balked at the new terms. Now I have to drag them to small claims court to get a refund which by law and by their own policies I am entitled too. Terrible "customer service". BEWARE

The WORST bank I have ever done business with. We had $$ in the bank and for a reason, that they could not explain, the $ was "held." So we had a number of checks bounce due to "Insufficient Funds"..However, the money was in the bank? They did not have a reason for this, were VERY RUDE and not willing to refund the $20 bucks a pop they charge for bounced checks. After much talking..they finally agreed to refund the money (after we mentioned notifying the Bank Commission.) Rude customer Service and ridiculous procedures. DO NOT BANK AT FLEET!!!
