The reporters and editorials are tops.
For Interviews, I love Charlie Rose; for investigative, I love 60 minutes - for 5 minutes of news and then excellent stories, you just can't beat CBS Sunday Morning - and did you ever notice that it is NEVER advertised - not even on CBS!

After preparing breakfast, you have two choices: 1. Pick Up the Paper or 2. Catch the First Few Notes of "Abblasen" on CBS' Sunday Morning. Whatever version of that well known theme is being played, you'll still be drawn into a weekly experience of arts (TV, movies, music, stage, artwork) and entertainment (amusing stories, perspectives, trips). Oh, let's not forget the morning's news and weather, which in a way is presented like a Sunday breakfast (or brunch). When this week's broadcast experience is nearly over, viewers are left with images of the outside world's natural spots, usually featuring wild life. Last, but not least, the stage goes dark and our guide Charles Osgood is also in the dark shortly after saying, "until then, I'll see you on the radio" (The Osgood File, also the name of a program segment). Even when 8:00 AM CST rolls around next Sunday morning, keep watch of your real breakfast.

Most Americans do not trust a media form that thinks the masses need to be told how to think and very angry that the major news shows tried to dangerously influence OUR government. Two of the most dangerous human emotions are fear and hatethank God, the tactics of national media did not succeed in using these extremely negative human emotions to sway politics. The American people are getting too smart and not giving any trust to the national media anymoreThank God! All the major news shows are probably lying about the numbers watching to cover up the major loss of trust and respect for the medium.

 | Frances Thomas (0) 07/12/2005 | This is my favorite TV Program of all the offerings out there, including cable programs! I attend Mass on Saturday night to ensure I won't miss any of Sunday Morning which airs in my California locale at 0730 to 0900
each Sunday Morning. I just love Charles Osgood. He is a very pleasant person and a great EmCee/Announcer. Keep up the great programming.

Charlie is a wonderful host, and is welcome to share my breakfast anyday! Excellent program that I picked up from watching with my dad. Hope its still around for many more years so can pass it on to my sons for their enjoyment and learning too.
