It should be, but the world would never go for it. Why? We would kick their ass. Plus Canada would insist upon playing by their mutant rules.

Not a worldwide sport.

I'd have to say no for now. As a game it's great, the most strategic of all team sports. However, it's not quite international enough, nobody could realistically challenge the U.S. and the equipment is prohibitively expensive for it to take off in poorer nations.

yes! another reason for Joe Worker to sit at home with a Ham Sandwich and Light Beer. plus it would be another way for America to kick some dirt in the rest of the world's face, and once again prove how superior we are. i know i would watch it, b/c a circus-joke, like the Olympics, is where American Football belongs.

As bad as the U.S. men did in Basketball, Soccer, Hockey, and Baseball (didn't even get into the Olympics), maybe football is the only sport we could get a Gold in. There is something to making Flag Football an Olympic sport.

No. I love the NFL. But nobody else does outside of America. . .

No. Not enough interest world wide appeal is one problem. The bigger problem, given the punishment the game inflicts, is fitting in a tournament during seventeen days, with teams having to play four or five games.

American Football has never truly been one of favorite sporting events, especially after witnessing the many great sports that the Olympics has to offer. However, it is enjoyable at times, and the Olympics would enhance my enjoyment of it.
