05/01/2005 | By far my favorite painter of all time. Her abstractions are almost spiritual for me. I find such passion and peace in her work.

11/26/2004 | I'm giving her a three because of her image as a feminist icon (yet a man Alfred Stieglitz helped to get her name in the door? hmm) and interesting person. She wanted to bring real life animals in her art classes as an art teacher. Yet I never really could get into her work. Not that I dislike the genre abstraction, I prefer Franz Kline and others.

09/24/2003 | She was very famous with many crowds and won many people over with her art. Unfortunatley, I never could find even one painting I really liked of hers.
But as a person, She seemed really fun.
And any woman who has an affair with Frida Kahlo has damn good taste!

01/22/2003 | Great art. Great painter.Independant, hypnotic dark eyes, had that long affair with Stieglitz. Kickass old lady. Lived to be almost 100, rambling around in New Mexico.
