Any noise out of the Obama camp that they're in the hunt in this state is just wind. Solid GOP

The Democrats aren't going to win Mississippi anytime soon. Thanks to Governor Haley Barbour's pro-active response to Katrina in 2005, tough-talk against crime within the state (both which further increased his popularity to Mississippians), along with a strong political machine at his disposal, John McCain's victory here in November is assured.

Obama has a campaign staff here, but it's whistling in the dark. Not enough black or educated voters to make the difference. Some talking heads say I'm wrong. We'll see.
