 | abichara (67) 11/01/2008 | Won't even be close, although Nebraska is a state that apportions 3 of its electoral votes according to Congressional district. Nebraska is overwhelmingly Republican. The only district that is remotely competitive is NE-2 centered around the Omaha area, which has a strong student population, along with more Democratic voters than anywhere else in the state. Polling seems to indicate that Obama is behind by only 3 percentage points there. Obama might win that district, which means that Nebraska will give 1 electoral vote to him and the other 4 will go to McCain.

 | Drummond (60) 08/12/2008 | This is one state in which the electoral college votes can be divided. Obama has an outside chance of taking one electoral college vote out of four, which would be an interesting story. But even this is unlikely.
