 | caphillsea77 (32) 11/02/2008 | Oregon will remain blue and will most likely unseat a republican senator as well this election. Conservative politics do exist here but moreso in a libertarian way. This state has also been very up and down in terms of unemployment and the economy. Portland between San Francisco and Seattle is a spitting image of both cities politically, another liberal bastion. Very blue state!

 | Drummond (60) 08/12/2008 | It's been close in the past, but the Republicans always come up short. And the libertarian element is very unhappy with the Republicans right now. Portland accounts for almost half the votes and the city's bluer than blue, electing socialists to office on occasion.

And then streaks the Oregon Ducks home opener in USC colors.
Then maybe, they won't vote for him.
