 | zuchinibut (46) 08/09/2005 | Buckingham Palace is sort of like the White House in Washington DC. There really isn't much going on, but it is fun to walk up and be a part of all the other people checking the place out.

 | Daccory (15) 08/04/2005 | Like teaseress I think Victoria's statue and fountain in the front and the part of the Mall with all the flowers actually set the Palace off. The building itself sticks in the mind whilst being rather nondescript. Still, everybody who comes to London wants to see it.

 | Loretta K (0) 03/05/2003 | Buckingham Palace was one of the most exciting sights, and the changing of guard was spectacular.
I can;t wait to come back to London again.
It will be soon I promise. It is the most beautiful city in the world.
Thank you,

 | Bluegrl_39 (0) 11/17/2002 | Buckingham Palace is gorgous. There are hundreds of flowers all around. It's not all that exciting though if you don't go during the changing of the gaurds but if you do it's a blast. You get to see all the guards with there guns marching back and forth, it is hilarious.

 | Teaseress (15) 02/08/2001 | You can actually have a tour of SOME of Buck Palace, and whenever I go past there (I live in London) it hasn't really been crowded. If you get bored of Buck Palace, walk down Pall Mall and you hit Trafalger Square, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Cicus - which leads onto Regents Street and Oxford Street. I;m not too keen on the palace, but I love that huge statue outside, great for photographing close-ups of the different figures on there.

 | Fredericko (0) 11/30/2000 | What a bust! Changing of the gaurd is no big whoop. You can't see anything from the outside gates. Too many people. No attraction.

 | darren (0) 10/25/2000 | This is an absolute waste of time. Very crowded, very boring. A sad band marches along while you are crushed by the ensuing ants of tourists flocking to see nothingness.

 | terror (0) 10/19/2000 | Not very spectacular unless you see the changing of the guards. They give very limited tours- check it out if you have the time/money. It's also close to most other sites, so walking is no problem.

 | jgray (0) 10/12/2000 | The tour was relatively inexpensive with the Crown Jewels as a highlight. The bad thing was that the cafeteria charged for butter and water.

 | bigg8124uk (0) 07/11/2000 | I have minimal interest in Buck Palace, but I am intrigued by the implication that the Queen should "come out and say high" (sic) or "wave from a window". She isn't some travelling gimp employed for the amusement of passing tourists, but a head of state. Does Clinton personally greet random visitors to the White House, or wave like a cretin from the window? Case closed.

 | leaf2817du (0) 06/27/2000 | I would give Buckingham Palace a higher rating if the Queen had come to out to say high on my recent visit or at least waved from the window!

 | Munson (8) 05/05/2000 | The Changing of the Guard is very cool, but it would be nice if they offered tours of the Palace.
