Some wonderful grounds to explore! Keep an eye out for Peter Pan, as you may blink and miss him. Many dogs will be running wild here, with their owners either close or far behind, but most of the dogs are well behaved.

Can be touristy. . .can be full of undesirables at some moments. . .but a real underrated place to visit for some quiet-walking-time during your visit to the very busy city of London. Having a local to show you the surrounding areas is a real bonus.

My hotel was located near Hyde Park, so I had the pleasure of walking through it in the morning. It's a park with a lot of wide open space with statues and memorials throughout. I loved the Peter Pan Statue in Honor of the Play by JM Barrie, which opened in London in 1904. There is also a Princess Diana Memorial, which is architecturally pleasing. Its a very inviting park, and its run to watch all the dogs run off leash chasing each other :o)

Hyde Park is the best park in London. I am always awed by the beautiful flowers and greenery; the brits really take pride in keeping Hyde Park beautiful for the people. On Sunday, it is fun to watch children feeding the ducks and swans in Kensington pond and of course the local dogs think its heaven to romp around. There is great beauty in Hyde Park.

Hyde Park is great for a mid-afternoon nap during a tiring day of being a tourist.

Speaker's corner used to be fun...now a lot of the time it is for Islamic groups to spout their nonsense and it has lost its appeal. The park however is lovely, especially in the Summer. My favourite is St James Park.

Hyde Park was a beautiful place to visit. The green grass, I have never seen so many gorgeous flowers in bloom! When visiting London, depending on the time of year Hyde Park is a nice clean, quiet place to realx and reflect on your trip or people watch. Speaker's Corner is also an unusual thing so see. Overall I liked it better than Central Park and that is hard to top.

When I was a student I used to love hiring a boat and rowing on the Serpentine, in the middle of Hyde Park. I'd always stop and rest on the oars and look around, completely alone in the middle of the big busy city, but quiet and calm on the lake. It was lovely.

Hyde Park is a really unique place located right in the heart of London. However, I did not give it a high rating because of the great amount of bums and homeless people occupying the park. The park, in my opinion, is not very well looked after and there are lots of bare spots where trees have rotted.

I love its vast expanses and the water bodies, the beautiful and calm atmosphere being in the middle of pure, cosmopolitan culture.
