Chagall's works are good. Although he's not my fave, his symbolisms and rendition give an overall dream-like innocent appeal. His style and my father's possess an uncanny sstrong similarity, to think that my pop has never known or seen any other artist's work.

I like this one...But I don't understand what makes a painter so great. Why are some paintings worth a million bucks, & others are worth $500??

The description of Chagall's work is slightly understated here. Among the first of the European Modernists, he was renown as Russia's premier Jewish artist. Chagall didn't use symbolism in his work... he created Symbolism.

interesting colors. like some of the picture but find some of it gaudy. okay but would not hang on my wall.
