Lots of bars and clubs. A gritty feel, like downtown SF. It has some negative aspects and a small criminal presence. It is close to downtown Sydney.

I ratinhg it pretty high, because it was the sketchiest experiance I have had in my life. THere are mad prostitutes here and drugs. It was very funny to walk around the streets at night.

Whatever kind of night life you are looking for in a big city can be found here! Glitz abounds, but travel in a group for safety sake. Try a trip down under for their Mardi Gras, and you'll see it all!
