Never been there but it is a cool looking building which is a recognised landmark in Sydney.

The monument to one of the largest cost overruns in the history of man. It was originally budgeted for seven million and cost over a hundred million. Hilarious.

WOW, what can I say! I went to sydney in Christmas 1999 and visited the Opera a week after landing in Australia. And when I stood on the Sydney Opera house steps I new we had arrived in Australia. The place is fantastic, but then again all of Sydney is!!!!!

I give the Sydney Opera House a 5. It's fun to attend a show on the inside, and free outdoor concerts on the outside.

An excellent design; A symbol of Australia's modernity. Clean, big, and can hold a lot of people. The design is specifically for acoustics.

The Opera house is awesome, you don't realize its size from photos! But Sydney, like many large cities is too crowded and the streets are crime filled after dark. Best not to trvael alone at night. Kings Cross is worth a visit.
