The Harem is worth seeing, but be prepared to pay double. The grounds are huge and tree covered, and it's a wonderful place to wander around. The Topkapi restaurant has a fabulous view as well. I actually liked the palace more than the Blue Mosque.

See how the Sultan's lived in all their majesty and even get a glimpse of profet Mohammed's remains: a hair, a tooth... The only thing I would complain against is the fact that they charge double the ticket just to get to visit what used to be where the Harem lived. I consider this kind of a tourist trap because although the Harem is equally as interesting and beautiful as the rest of the Palace, it isn't a whole lot more, BUT the museum knows it's the place most tourists will be interested in seeing. Over all, though, I highly recommend Topkapi palace; I would just reserve a whole day to really enjoy this place next time I visit.
