We have some distinguished senior citizens, but not too many "Back in my day we rated things by stacking turnips on top of each other instead of stars and we liked it sorts."

This definitely I, and now and again a geezer passes through this site besides me. AutzenMaven was a strong member of the geezer club, but he has gone inactive. I hope he comes back. How do you get to be a geezer? Merit, my dear children--strictly merit!

I've always been under the impression that GEEZER (in the USA) meant any old fart like myself.

Now, depending on the definition of the word 'geezer' it could go either way. When I was at school the word 'geezer' meant something cool, but nowadays it seems to mean 'a fool', unless it's a 'diamond geezer' which is cool.
Kids nowadays...
