This group used two names, The Cadets [when releasing material for Modern Records] and The Jacks [when recording for RPM]. The group had exactly two charted hits, one under each name: "Why Don't You Write Me?" (1955) by The Jacks, and the comedy hit "Stranded In The Jungle" (1956) as The Cadets, which was a cover of the original by The Jayhawks.
