One of the most successful integrated doo wop groups. They had a smash hit with the classic ballad "16 Candles" (1959). Also made the pop lists with "Sweetest One," "The Angels Listened In," and "Step by Step." (Add picture)

The Crests are/is (?) one of my favorite doo-wop groups. Their big hit "16 Candles" epitomizes the classic ballad style of doo-wop. A very romantic song.
